i think it will be beneficial to make the gun jamming and weapon jamming animations only appear for lower level perhaps level 1 only soldier, this will be realistic and will also give you an incentive to train and play your low skilled soldiers. as the soldier progresses and gains more experience, jamming becomes less/infrequent.
low level/green soldiers with little training will have more chance of messing up a reload or incorrectly loading a rifle than a 3 star soldier/ battle hardened veteran.
I like this idea, as I am an advocate for the removal of gun jams entirely, but understand that the devs wouldnt want to waste their hard work on making those animations.
I love the Jamming animations. I do not have much hi ranking troops yet, but I want to see both gun and troop level come to play. I have the jamming thing happen to me once today. I have only see this in one game and they do it with the M1 Grand gun. I think it is call Grand thumb. beside that it is a very nice addition to the game. I do hope the other guns will have a similar problem as well. my experience right now is the bolt action weapons’. The kar98k carbine.
the animations are little bit fast. it like a second or 2 more with the kar98k my trooper was trying to close the bolt on the striper clip it was funny and scary at the same time. he had to nock it off with is hand and then close the bolt.
I think their talking about the times when your character does not push off the stripper clip instantly.
Afaik there are not jammings ingame. tbh, there should not be.
I have had dozens and dozens of jams by now, as I have been intensively playing for about two weeks. It often gets me killed because I retreat to reload, come back out of cover to be able to shoot as soon as I am reloaded, but my gun jams and I can not shoot. It is a big feel bad to be punished for something you could not prepare for.
