Weapon Battle Rating changes

In Making Enlisted a Better Place №71, we adjusted multiple Japanese weapons to match their characteristics to historical values, but these changes didn’t affect their BR. After reviewing how they perform, we are now making a few additional changes:

  • Type 100 SMG (early)*: base damage reduced from 6.0 to 5.6, BR changed from I to II.
  • Type 100 paratrooper SMG*: base damage reduced from 6.0 to 5.6, BR changed from I to II.
  • Type 100 SMG (late)*: base damage reduced from 6.0 to 5.6.
  • Type Hei rifle (late): BR changed from IV to III.
  • Type 2a SMG: BR changed from II to III.

The Battle Rating of weapons from other nations have been revised too:

  • Gewehr 98 with scope mount: BR changed from II to I.
  • PPD 1929: BR changed from IV to III.
  • “Uragan” SMG: BR changed from II to III.
  • Lanciafiamme Mod.35: BR changed from V to IV.
  • Flamethrower portable No.2 Mk 1: BR changed from V to IV.
  • Mosin M91 “Infantry”: BR changed from II to I.

* - damage related changes will be in the next client update

Many of the other proposed changes also included adjustments and corrections in other statistics, for example, not just damage of a certain ammo type (as in the Type 100 family changes), so these are reserved for later.

The ones announced today are because these are in response to the Japanese weapon changes recently in MEaBP, plus a few adjustments solely to Battle Rating of other nations’ weaponry.

Vehicles likely will also get their own adjustments soon.

Yes, the Battle Rating changes are, however not yet the base damage changes, which will follow soon:

Can you rework the Raising also.

And think about giving Type 99 rate of fire to 700 I think nerfing it to 550 is a bit too similar to type 96.

Most of these were necessary, but is this all?

We had dozens of passed suggestions and only a few changes…

I would love to say this is better than nothing but at the same time everything is becoming disapointing here…

Uragan may lack sufficient competitiveness at BR 3, anyway, I look forward to a larger scale BR adjustment.

you should totally move the luftfaust to br3 or br2 so i can shoot down the slower planes with it and not handicap myself by removing the AT weapon from my AT gunner

or make the luftfaust an infantry launcher class weapon like the rmn50 so riflemen can use it, it would be pretty funny

any possible consideration on returning back the sale of “missing” premium squads? because the sails aren`t consistent and the special offers/bundles got removed or didnt show up anymore

Just had match against panthers with full br 2 setup and freaked out lol, appearently because of uragan
