German and soviet automatic weapons arent balanced
If game is looking for realism why does pps and ppsh smg have higher fire rate than mg 34 and mg 42 in real world that isnt possible maybe mg 42 in game is based on mg 3 wich has lower fire rate than its predecessor
I belive that mg line of light machine guns should be buffed to create some kind of realism
this is soviet realism.
5 seconds wiki search. yes, ppsh41 DID shoot THAT fast, perhaps even more. definitely more than mg34.
As for mg42, yes we know. It COULD fire faster depending of the spring, fields mods etc. (700 to 1300 rpm, depends of a lot of things) yet Iâm somehow glad it doesnât fire faster as we only have the 50 ammo beltâŠ
Depends on where you look. One thing is certain, rof varies A LOT depending on many factors as I have stated. Until (if) we have access to a 100+ ammunition belt, Iâm glad rof doesnât go higher than what we have in game.
Yeah, same goes for ppsh.
Agree, which as well affects the ppsh
As well agree. Wouldnt even mind if it was lower with current dispersion / bipod / every other lmg related issue.
Sorry dude, no russian bias here. Only the hard facts. Russian SMGâs were easy and cheap to produce, plus more effective.
Like literally any other SMG.
Eh, cheap and easy to produce is questionable if you are referring to the PPSh. Those had a boat load of quality control issues, and were about as expensive as an M1A1 Thompson IIRC. If you mean the PPS-42/43, then yeah.
and they did not have a rate controller, therefore the rate of fire was variable (700-1200), something that the mg42 did have for donât waste ammo
it shoots so fast that a fast tap spends 2 3 bullets, it will hardly spend only 1
That sounds like Russian bias
You made me remember something:
The mg34 had a selective fire function. Contrary to what we have in game, this lmg was rather accurate, enough so that it was worthwhile for soldiers to fire 1 bullet at a time depending on the situation.
Wish this would be implemented here (if it isnât already, havenât looked since a while)
It SOUNDS biased, yes⊠but itâs true (that Soviets smgs were better). Soviets mastered mass production of their smgs using the most simple designs as possible. The Papasha itself had a big total of⊠one⊠screw (not counting those holding the sling attachment part or holding the stock butt) It could be made from nothing to completion in â6 hrs, and was mostly made of stamped metal (and wood).
Later in the war, other factions tried the same way of thinking, but their designs werenât perfected as much as the ppsh41 (Soviets had ample time to perfect the model) So things like the grease âone useâ gun smg, the nightmarishly ugly sten, the mp3008 etc. appeared later as the need to pump as many small arms as possible increased.
and 1 moist nagant barrel became 2 ppsh barrels with saw if necessary.
While it was definitely one of the most cost efficient and by the time easiest to produce smg it hardly was the lazorbeam it is in the game.
Deutch fans will suffer even if soviets will have only 1 mosin per 3 soldiers. Suffa issue
Say that to FG, mg, mp43. Oh no, itâs another
Mkb and StG are way less accurate than Avtom, German MGs are worst accurate MGs ingame and one has the magic ability to get additional dispersion, FG is less accurate than AVS and MP43 less accurate than AVT.
So what are you complaining about?
Quite sure they already have far more dispersion than soviet wonder guns assembled with hammer.
less accurate
So less that they still allow to snipe and overcome any weapon except some fedorov or sniper mosin. Actually in datamine thereâs 0.75 dispersion for mkb and 0.82 for ppsh. Itâs too much comparing to real feeling but still assault lasers like mp and fg>smgs and some jumping crap like avt
No they donât. Only fedorov is as laser as fg but itâs still not widely available. Funny that IRL fedorov was used only in first stages of war and fg was special forcesâ weapon
