Weapon attachment logistics rework

Looks like I mistook the Gewehr 1888 for the Gewehr 98.

In that case, one count of the aforementioned example.

Off topic but:
Worst GO weapon I have ever bought. So terribly slow. And it’s not meme as berdan nor bizarre as British silenced carbine.
It’s just extremely boring.

I was specifically referring to the fact that a sniper can use a scoped rifle but not a grenade launcher, and not a bayonet unless it’s on the basic rifle; at which point you might as well be using a rifleman.

Snipers are a specialist class with a specialized weapon: they can’t benefit from any attachments besides the scope, and nobody else should be able to use a scoped rifle. There isn’t any point in combining the two.

And I’m referring to the fact the intent is to simplify logistics, not create a mishmash of attachments.

Giving snipers flexibility in choosing what attachments to put on has never been the intent of the thread.

The point that I have to repeat is that rifles keep their upgrade states, and what class can use them is influenced by what attachment you put on.

Instead of purchasing and upgrading 20 different weapons, I would only need to purchase 10 weapons and equip whatever attachment the class needs.

I can cut down on the number of weapons I would need to purchase and upgrade, overall, which, if you aren’t already aware, is the prime point of the suggestion in the first place.
