We should replace the M1903 with the M1903A3

From my understanding, almost all M1903s in active US inventory by 1944 were M1903A3s. With the M1903A3, we wouldn’t have to suffer through the sights of the M1903. I also suggest having the M1917 as an unlockable Bolt-Action, seeing as it is no more anachronistic than the M2 Hyde

I support this fully.
Hope this one gets more traction than mine did.

Maybe they gonna replace the Enfield with it when we get the Empire Campaign.

They already use some ww2 weapons so some of the skins may be recycled :stuck_out_tongue:

Proof of the use of the M1917 Eddystone:
" At the time of the American entry into World War II, the U.S. Army was still issuing the M1917 to chemical mortarmen. Perhaps due to M1 Garand shortages at the start of the war, the M1917 was also issued to artillerymen, and both mortarmen and artillerymen carried the M1917 in North Africa. Lieutenant Colonel Charles E. Peterson (USAR, retired; 1920–2005), a Major in the 101st Airborne in the Normandy action, reported seeing some M1917 rifles issued to rear-echelon U.S. troops in France during World War II"
Upon further research apparently the M1903 saw continuous use by the Americans well into Europe as shown by:
“The M1903 and the M1903A3 rifle were used in combat alongside the M1 Garand by the U.S. military during World War II and saw extensive use and action in the hands of U.S. troops in Europe, North Africa, and the Pacific.”

Yes fucking please. I took off the scope from my Springfield sniper and realized how much better the iron sights could be.
