Thats not really an argument. Because the benefits voice gives outweighs the negatives.
this is also a beta and its worth testing. Gaijin has never done voice chat and this is a hard M rated game and arguing that “content moderation” is the issue is a cop out.
Your ability of critical thinking, or rather, lack of it, and obvious lack of reading comprehension doesn’t constitute “that’s not an argument” because you don’t understand the point.
I’m not interested in public voice chat where 12 year olds are all having aggressive intercourse with your mother constantly. Voice chat should only be, and currently is, restricted to squads.
It would be both immersion ruining not to mention disgusting.
That is an example of what you said above, not an argument.
You mean like Rainbow Six Siege that has this function and most of the time it’s not used, and when it is used, it’s used to hurl racial slurs at other players?
Or Valorant where they are now monitoring voice chat because people are toxic?
Or Overwatch where you hear racial slurs every match almost?
Or Red Orchestra where it’s a combination of 12 years olds screeching uncontrollably, or adults insulting their entire team because they died? Or being called N-words left and right?
Voice chat for the entire match should be avoided.
The thing is, Hell Let Loose, Postscriptum, Squad and to a much lesser degree Project Reality, require good communication otherwise they just suck. It’s not as important for winning as to generally having a fun time instead of spending 95% of the game on just running from respawn to objective.
RO/RS have voip and it makes barely any difference on a teamplay, because guess what, many people just disable it. Ones in a while you actually get a good commander that communicates, most of the time it’s just some drunk re-tired guy yelling at the screen.
It’s better to add other means of communication, instead of voip.
