They do not belong in the game like jets there is no real way to balance them and they don’t fit WW2. The German SF is a paratroopers weapon that at 7k could not arm all 125k paratroopers. The Japan and US SF were prototypes that had a handful of them mad. The USSR was so broken even the soviets reverted the few they made into SA rifles. SFR creates problems of balance between factions and BRs. Remove SF remove Hyde 44 move M2 to BR5 assaulter. The game while not fixed removes much of the friction between 4 and 5. Maybe even move BR5 smgs to br4.

They won’t be removed.
No content has ever been removed from this game, even controversial as Beretta38 (20 rounds), Panzer IV F2 in old moscow or Jumbo and M2 carbine in old Normandy.
But if you have an idea to nerf SF rifles, Im all ears.

That’s the trouble nerfing them will do very little to move the problem, the fg42
42 ‘cant be nerfed enough to fit with the m2, you then can’t move the m2’ to assault and remove the hyde44. Thus the weebs will continue to cry about the Hyde and t1
20 all while lying that br5 'allies axis was balanced.
Rate of fire would have to be nerfed into the ground thus turning them in SA, magazine capacity can be touched as it would be reload the game. And damage reduction would turn it into a nerf gun. Can’t do all three because increasing number of hits for a down or kill would break the gun.
The only other real solution is separating them from br4. Lowering rate of fire would not help as it’s still hold down trigger and spray. Now if all were burst fire that might be far better or worse. Maybe lower total ammo count making it good but like flamers limited.

Nothing will be removed. The only best thing you could accomplish is getting something nerfed or some other form of tweek. That’s about it m8.
Id rather not have the hyde removed. But moving the M2 to assaulter beforehand, or Id say even now would make the class more useful. The Thompsons are just that disappointing.

Legacy content is dumb. Most of the weapons were free anyway that they removed. Just give them back.
