I know this is a old issues, people talk about this topic all the time.
Obviously there are large number of potential PVE players in the player base of Enlisted. And all along, those players’ voice has been ignored. On the other hand, a lot of new players and lowe-skilled players have to endure a huge sense of frustration even after BR update, a PVE mode will be helpful to retain those players. After all, there are no competitors on the game market who can provide “large battle ground” WWII CO-OP FPS experience.
But for now, PVE in custom battle is incomplete and unfair. Players can only fight against 6 bot squad, which is far from enough. Moreover, players can only get less than 1k exp (exp x 0.2) for every 10 mins !(usually, u can gain 8-10k exp every 10 minutes in squads mode)
I’m not expecting for full exp PVE mode, but current situation is absolutely unacceptable, PVE players should be able to earn battle hero/victory awards and be able to fight 10 or more bot squads without bot teammates’help.
I believe PVE mode multiply exp by 0.7 will be reasonable. Surely the difficulty of PVE mode will also be much higher than present time, PVE mode won’t be much easier to win compared to squads mode.
There’s no need to worry about some players gonna be farming, current speed of earning experience is largely tied to the length of each match, 300 kills in 30mins won’t get more rewards than 150kills. Besides, for developers, it’s not difficult to make sure the average exp gaining rate of PVE players lower than PVP players.
You are literally fighting against xp piñatas, its extremely dumb to think you deserve more xp.
It is not, thats the multiplier for leaving an actual match before its finished.
Okay lets get to the root of it AI SUCKS, it doenst matter how you fell about it, they are just target practice, the fact that you dont know how much of a difference there is between actual players and dumb ai just tells me you havent played much squad mode. This entire thing just sounds as someone who wants to play against bots and still progress comfortably through the tech tree, which isnt a bad thing by itself, bt is just completely unfair for squad mode players.
And no, they wont change in the future, as a cbt player i can say that ai has hardly improved in 3 years, they are and always have been moving targes, and sometimes not even that since they get stuck or just stop in the middle of the open
Actually, just send bot into the target point, suicid when every bot has been killed and loop the process. U will get about 3-5k exp per 10mins. That’s way easy and way comfortably, u only need one hand to achieve it.
I have also seen those low-skilled player trying so hard but geting so little score. Give them opportunity play PVE mode is much more fair and more kind for them. Having fewer low-skilled teammates is also a good thing for those who choose to stay in squad mode.
BOT sucks but still improvable. This is important for both PVE and PVPVE.
As far as I can see people are skewed towards the Tunisian allies and the Pacific axis, there must be a lot of people who want PVE in this game.
I too, playing on the opposite team that can’t play a fair match at all, would like to see a PVE mode as well.
In fact, the game would live longer if it had a good PVE.
For example, Star Wars Battlefront is still alive as a PVE game, and my favorite insurgency is also a PVE game with hardly anyone playing the competitive mode.
But earning experience and getting new equipment and troops is the main motivation of the game, and if PVE mode can fulfill that, many people will stop playing PVP.
Maybe now is not the time to add PVE, as they are still trying to save the lack of players by improving matchmaking.
After the campaign is integrated, if it still suffers from imbalanced matchmaking, we may be eager for PVE once again.
And, well, maybe DF will eventually come up with a form of PVE that balances well with PVP, if not now.
But George is required to live a healthy life once you get outside and find out there is bigger world than one room with computer and game that is getting on your nerves
