Hello everyone. I understand the excitement over the assault engineer event, I understand a little less all the excitement over the Breaking Dead mode which I found boring, is there any news or rumors about the addition of new nations or the expansion of the BR? I have already completed everything and would like to use the 500 days of Premium I have left to max out new upcoming nations? Is there a road map, something that specifies where the game is going in the next few months?
We need more polishing, bug fixing and remaking some features.
We definitely do not need just another rushed content in form of new faction, new BR levels and so. This game isn’t ready for something like that.
We need both.
If I have nothing to research I wont play.
Then give yourself a break from the game a play something else, there’s lot of good games.
I doubt the developers have the resources to do both things well at the same time. At the very least, they haven’t been able to for at least a year.
I definitely do not want just more of rushed content…
No joy in simply playing the game?
You can always play mods you know.
Yes its a well known game developer suicide decision when they halt all content development to focus on polishing and bug fixes exclusively. /S
Thank gods Darkflow isint that foolish. (even if they make questionable decisions)
Well, the proper steam release didn’t even happen yet.
Or do you think they’d give up completely after all that effort?
Roadmap is definitely not coming until the Steam release is corrected and remedied.
I answer in sequence:
MOD - no, I want to play competitively in high BR, mods are often slow and focused on historical recreations which honestly have no appeal for me.
simply playing the game - I’m already doing it, I’m helping someone less experienced, I’ve collected over a million research points for each nation but now I’m bored without a goal. The engineer events were good, but all in all after almost 3 months of playing to perfect my stats and without a specific objective I feel bored.
Then give yourself a break from the game a play something else, there’s lot of good games I’m already doing it, but Enlisted is one of those PVP games where you can choose how to make your opponent “explode” in many ways, between weapons and vehicles you have a lot of variety and in BR5 it’s really spectacular lately, especially with the Germans and Russians. I play other things, but Enlisted is still the main game for me at the moment, the one where I like to give my all. Regarding the bugs, yes there are, from the paratroopers who get stuck and more, but nothing dramatic, a more refined game wouldn’t be bad, but it’s still very playable and spectacular.
Thanks for the obvious, that’s exactly what I’ll do when I finish researching Japan.
Then cry that there are no players and everything is full of bots.
I’m not one of those people. Because I don’t see the difference between casual players and bots.
Merge didn’t solve faction bias issue. And even if this game had 5x more players, it wouldn’t change anything in my opinion.
I, on the other hand, advocate that the developers should make ±0 MM even at the expense of having bots in the game more often.
Faction Bias will be around as long as we have such a complex MM that causes all Factions to be divided into specific teams (not mixed up) and play on specific maps.
Even WT doesn’t have this. Where factions are randomly shuffled and the only thing that affects maps are BR limits.
Btw. I prefer this decision very much myself. I’d rather have a worse balance between teams than a completely ugly swamp where light post war tanks are facing ww2 heavy tanks on a middle eastern map somewhere.
People should not be so critical and accept some compromises.
But of course I understand that my view and opinion may not be shared by a lot of people, lol. I’m just sharing it here. Nothing less, nothing more.
imagine whole game coming to a grind… i think you wouldnt play any game pre 2010
Technically it happened; up to them how to alter that plan.
Im not going to presume ur a telepath or that u decide the company policy.
Literally the reason they waited for the Steam release is because they wanted to gather feedback from Steam players as well. And create a roadmap based on that.
If they simply counted the failure we experienced as a Steam release, this whole point would lack any logic. The whole effort would be completely pointless and a waste of time.
I don’t need to be a telepathic wizard.
Yeah the character animation still look like it’s been shat out by AI.
