In Titanfall 2 players can choose which gamemodes they want to play, and they can deselect the modes that they don’t want. Not only that, this game allows microphone communications between players. AND there aren’t microtransactions at every corner.
This game is almost 7 years old and the online lobbies are healthy. It’s also F2P.
Indeed we do. I’m hoping that something like this will come in some form when the merge happens but god damn it would be nice if the merge’s release date would at least be revealed.
You mean the empty custom lobbies? Nah man, if I’m gonna play with mechs., it’s gonna be playing a game that was specifically developed for that type of gameplay (and has a whole bunch of game modes to choose from).
However, TITAL FALL2 was completely unplayable until just a few days ago, as the lobby was empty and the servers were dead. Now it is a little more crowded after a mysterious update, though.
Anyway, that game has nothing to do with Enlisted.
Obviously. The whole point of the post is regarding selectable game-modes. Why is everybody who plays Enlisted, being forced into game modes that we aren’t interested in? What is this, the 1990’s?
If a custom game cannot grind level XP (even by just 0.01%) and finish daily missions, then the custom game yet never truly become an organic part of the game.
Because it cannot participate in the main part of the game.
Every player should be able to find a game mode they enjoy playing.
It is very contradictory if you are unable to participate in the main progress of the game because you play the mode you like to play.
Compared to other games, such as some loot box games.
The grind level of “Enlisted” in is very important. Grind determines how players can unlock new content and add unique content to their account.
In this context, players should not be banned from grinding content in custom or modded games, and banning players from major game progression because they enjoy a part of the game is rare even within the industry.
Yes, and it’s still amazing to this day. The single player campaign alone is gold.
They have only recently been “resurrected”. Official multiplayer support has been dead for a long time due to a series of DDoS attacks and the Devs focusing on other games (Apex Legends).
No, it’s not. Apex Legends, its Battle Royale spinoff, is.
bold of you to assume that we have enough playerbase to fill all gamemodes.
but, i suppose if we do ( and i hope we will at some point ) a gamemode selector wouldn’t hurt.
even though. it would just end up being like some games.
where they merge some gamemodes together ( or like, current enlisted ) because some are not played and would make time cues longer and what not.
bold of you to assume we’ll get xps for mods to begin with other than events.
and kinda hate to break it to you, but the more you suggest doesn’t mean it will actually implemented.
we too could always chase and demand what we want, but that doesn’t mean it will happen.
which ,war thunder has customs . but you don’t earn by playing them.
because they are not meant to, and devs have clear interest in anyone not earning xps from mods.
you know. that goes against their own interest.
as much they can tell us that customs will be " new homes " for people. i highly doubt it until i see it.
because as much i’m happy for you demanding stuff for mods, i would like to redirect your own eyes onto custom games.
which are overshadowed. despite being the basic. even for mods.
( despite their actual importance )
on the day of the presentation of apex I was watching the stream together with several friends, we were all excited to know more things about the new titanfall (especially because the multiplayer of the second one was becoming deserted) at the exact moment in which they showed that instead of a new titanfall they had created a battle royal with heroes, in the room were I was 7 hearts broke all at once
If it’s not free, how am I playing it without paying for it? It was a simple as going to Xbox gamestore, and clicking download. No purchase required.
Yeah I was playing TF2 before the servers went down, and have been really happy with the most recent update that fixed the broken online lobbies. I’ve been reading a lot of speculation regarding “why” the developers fixed TF2, and people are hoping it’s an early sign that Titanfall 3 is under development (which I hope is true).
100% agree. It’s such a fast paced/action packed game.
Wasnt the game basicly dead for several years until the devs actualy got rid of the bots/hacks breaking their mm and releasing the update just recently? Idk if I would describe the life cycle of Titanfall as healthy.
Steam still charges you 30 bucks for it so idk about that.
