That has been a problem for so long, and its so inconvenient to get to know or to play with someone if you never know if someone is in a match or up for playing. Than you have to share discord info inside a match for communication, utterly annoying. So i played almost all matches alone with the exception of a couple dozen of my 1400 matches.
