I went into the practice range with my mig-3 and started flying up in the sky. I reached a little over 10000m up in the sky and suddently my plane despawned and i got error messages. When i looked down had a weird view. I made some shots in the right order to capture what happened and if you are interested take a look:

No you cant! i personally reached map end and see, there was only a couple of meters of vertical ground and there is an invisible wall at lv0 of the ground that kills you instantly
Its a bit scary in its own way.
But it is not really surprising that devs didnt really count at players fighting (or in general, being present ) at such high altitudes, so it makes sense it looks the way it does.
In war thunder there is outer space in 25k meter and you can see the planet
In War Thunder where high altitude fights are happening on daily basis.
Enlisted does not count with that.

I remember once in another game in Alpha, we could fly so high up we eventually reached underground.

In war thunder there is no space craft so is strange have outer space, maybe a space expansion is planned
