You can remove a lot of object on the map quickly using scenery_remover.
Press t to create entity → select Rendinst
select scenery_remover and put it down.
Put the radius of area you want to remove into scenery_remove_distCoef and press enter.(don’t be too high or the editor will crash). Click scenery_remove__apply.
This is the removed area when you enter 100.

I even don’t know buildings can be removed.
You can just scale scenery_remover box to contain rectangular area where you want all objects removed. Distance coefficient was added more to finetune what removed on edges of removed/non-removed areas. Then you can hide scenery remover’s huge box and work well.
