Recently I noticed that these bushes were placed kind of weirdly, for example they block a door and I thought that was really weird.

hedges always used to be in that location. it’s the door that didn’t used to be there.
DF updated the asset building because in one of the normandy map, usually on the edges of the le bre invasion, next to the flak and between the trenches, there’s this " lone house " which it’s an objective.
and the soldiers coming from the town didn’t had a fast entry. and the opponents coming from the trenches / forest could just lock down the edges and most attackers / defenders couldn’t get inside as easily as the other team.
hence, DF updated that assets buildings. which lead in this one being changed as well, as most houses and places are reused across the various maps.

Thanks for clearing that up, I hope darkflow moves the hedges in the way of the doorway because it really bugs me.
I think they have been there for quite a while, but not sure if original. I always drop an AP mine in that doorway.
