It would be nice to have something pop up before it actually sends you into a match warning you that you have a higher tier item equipped when most of your squads are lower br stuff. For example lets say you switch over from br5 to br3 but forget to switch out the planes because its the same squad but in it you have br3-br5 planes so instead of the searching for a match it would highlight in red the squad that is in br5 compared to the rest of your load out thats in br3 but it wouldnt completely stop you from searching for a match if you click the start battle button again
Something like the tier range on a big red button, which you have to push to join the matchmaker?
lol I know its tells you the br youre going to play before it finds a match but sometimes it instantly sends you into a match also it doesn’t ask you if youre sure if you want to bring a lower br setup into a higher br match.
I recently had to leave a match after it started because I noticed I forgot to switch my planes around.
Well, you have to ‘Double tab’ before you push the button and/or deal with the fact that you just joined a mass shooting with a knife from time to time. That happens to all of us sometimes.
There is some BR2 stuff in my BR3 lineup, because i equiped it on purpose. When i push the start button, i want it to put me into a match, not to start a
"Are you sure you want to do this?
Yes, that’s why i pushed the button.
Are you REALLY sure?
Ignition"Pop up dialogue every time.
I rather take the risk to mess up and be retarded.
I’d appreciate the warning, but I’d like the option to turn it of in the settings. Sometimes (often, really) I bring low BR gear into higher BRs, this warning would ger repedative in such cases.
fair point maybe just highlighting the squad that is 2 battle rating higher compared to the rest of the lineup or vice versa when you have a br5 lineup and you have a br2-3 squad in it
anything to prevent a unnecessary desertion ( maybe 50 pop ups warning you like its the end of the world lol )
A simple switch in the settings will do, I appreciate the sentiment.
There’s also the fact that a lot of people play very casually, and have no idea what the BRs even are.
I saw one dude streaming, playing in a BR5 match as his team was getting turned into meat paste by 1000 lb bombs, and I asked him “are you using a historical loadout?”
He said he didn’t know what I was talking about.
“Are you using lower BR weapons at BR5 on purpose?”
He responded he didn’t know. He just had no idea what I was referring to at all while running around a BR5 match with 75% of his guys equipped with Gewehr 33/40s. Mind you he had TT MG42s so he must’ve been playing like this for the entire time he’s played the game. If a warning like OP suggested popped up, it’d at least give a strong indication to people that maybe they should find out what this means since the game considers it important enough to warn you about.
Not sure, if any warnings would help in this case…
Maybe there should be a non skippable tutorial for new players providing at least crucial knowledge about this game and it’s mechanics.
