Not without reason, of course. But I think history is more important than memories. Especially those memories that you didn’t even personally find. In a word, insanity. We really have a lot of disputes about the SS, namely in the category of war criminals, but for me they are nothing more than special forces, like the same Marines in the USA. An army within an army.

but that’s not what the SS is at all

they weren’t even part of the wehrmacht. the SS was a militarised branch of the NSDAP. and they weren’t special forces, they were hilariously incompetent, underequipped and undertrained. kind of like another military currently active in eastern europe, hence the larp.

also, the USMC aren’t special forces, they’re just another branch of the military. You may be thinking of the UK’s royal marines, which are special forces.

I heard that the Navy and the Regular Army had different commands and, accordingly, their own interests. This was expressed, for example, in the choice of weapons, where it was the navy who usually ordered any expensive and rare, well, and perhaps they had their own view on various military options.

In all decent army

  • airforce airborne troops obey airfoce general
  • army troops obey army general
  • navy marine obey admiral

Have different chain of command wo are grouped
under the country big boss (president, prime minister) maximaze the efficiency of each brench of the military and avoid the confusion of have 7 guy with the same autority wo give 7 different order and a soldier dont know wo obey

And this make have each brench his own special forces

Take Us as example

  • Paratroopers (airforce)
  • deltaforce (army)
  • navy seals (navy)
