well… the 37 mm NS-37 and the 45mm NS-45 were supposed to be tank busters, that’s one of the reasons they were fitted to the Yak-9T and 9K with AP rounds.

yes, they have HE in enlisted, IRL they had AP. Also there isn’t much you can do with 29 HE shots with the NS-45 in air to air combat, but as a tankbuster…

IRL the 23mm cannons on the IL-2 could kill basically any German tank from the right angle but that’s with ap and in Enlisted plane cannons only have HE, I imagine what happened is you his ammo along the top of the chassis where the armor is super thin and the explosive damage carried through the armor, otherwise I’d just say that Tiger 2 got gaijinedlolz
