Due to the very nature of humanity and the wide problems about the many different perspectives of the Game, and the dev team, currently. I propose a very simple voting system FROM the devs about the future balancing and addition of new features of the Game.
So everytime theres people ranting about Nerf this Buff that, the devs could simply expose their posible fixes and let the comminuty give their vote towards which option would be suited best.
This way we dont get 4 people ranting getting the devs to listen to them just so they piss off another 10 people for listening to the first 4 creating a pointless system of toxicity, ironic posts, etc, etc.
TL;dr, devs make a list of what they plan to add or tweak and let the comminuty give their vote.

They did so once or twice… one year or more ago.
It was about the motorcycle squad. Should it takes a vehicle slot or infantry slot? community decided. Everyone was happy.
Pools are nice since they reach more varied opinions than the vocal ppl (like me) of the forums.
Miss those.

Maybe we will see those polls again someday.
Enlisted keeps evolving.
Nerfs sucks that’s for sure, when done improperly like what they did with air strikes or armoured wood walls. But we adapt.
For example, What I disliked the most with very big radiomen nerf is the smoke arty delay now being 2 minutes. I already found a way to compensate.
I ofc ditched my radiomen squad as they’re useless now, and brought back… MORTARS! Yup, lol. Those having smoke shells, are now covering my smoke needing niche.

Yup, instead the devs go with what they want and completely fuck things up. Crazy how that works

I do like the idea of polls. HOWEVER: the metas on pc vs console are massively different. From what I have experienced personally here on the forums, it seems that pc players are a lot more vocal.
In addition, its a lot more likely that people would make multiple accounts on the forums (though it is against the rules) to vote multiple times.
What I propose instead: make the polls accessible in the GAME rather than just on the forums. It will reach a wider audience and give players on console a better chance to voice their opinions as well, as most of them don’t participate in the forums. They are players too, and deserve a chance to make their vote on things as well if it comes to a poll.

Thats a really good option as well, difference is that here theres engagement and discussion, even though that may be a problem in itself lol

Votings are easy to break, so this looks like pseudodemocracy. Not those should decide, who have much hands, but those, who understands, what changings lead to. And this naive “4 people piss 10 because these 4 create toxicity bla bla bla” doesn’t represent other picture when those 10 may be organised trolls that try to break balance or make people nervous. Or maybe half of them are fakes
Nerfs suck for those who likes totally broken balance or just too lazy to adapt. Both nerf and buff are instruments of keeping balance calm and not creating $#it like fg42/2

I know that deutches are helpess against PPSh even having maus and deathstar, so what? How does that deny that balancing will not be built good on system where kids poke variants “gut/nat gut” without explanation and thinking?
Maybe.
Is it better to have pseudodemocracy - with some indications of change(s) - or be completelly in the dark and be ((un)pleasantly) surprised, when a change occurs?
The thing you mention is probably called roadmap. Voting is still useless itself, especially when many players aim at getting numbers without any efforts(hello machineguns) and they give literally no single little FAQ about improvements or balancing
I would even say that instead of making a poll here on the forums, they could implement it into the game itself, so that those without a voice could still be heard - which is like 90% of the playerbase.

Internet polls are self selecting and don’t represent a fair cross section of the community that plays the game. The vast majority of players never engage with a game outside of the game itself, so the only way to fairly poll the active playerbase is in game.
Also, generally people don’t know what they want, and are easily swayed on issues they don’t have a high interest in

LOL. Yeah those xbox players can’t type very fast on a controller.
So It seems that in Game voting system would be BEST so far
I play on Xbox. The thing is that I just happen to be vocal on the forums. Trouble is, I’m the only one in my group that is. If the voting was ONLY on forums, the rest of my group would miss out. However, if the poll was through the game, they would take the time to do them. Problem solved.
Well. Because the game was sooner available for PCs and most consoles do not state that they are console players apart from glorious people like @114632241.
(Well. You need to know it)
You can do the same on the consoles or pc. The forum at least requires you to play two matches per week.
Reddit would be way worse.
Well. You could also just make more advertisment for the forum ingame in general.
Its up to them. If they dont want to give input, then just leave them behind. Same goes for PCs.
It is not THAT hard to find the forum. You just need to google a bit. If people dont want or cant, then its their own problem.
For the cool kid. You can use the forum on amy screen device so this is pointless.

Voting is useless if they dont make use of the results. So far they did but we need to mention that they did this like twice in 2+ years, not counting the (Pre)Alpha-elections.
Democracy could have prevented the Panther censorship.
