With discord can I also only speak with friends in a group, or with everybody in the same battle?
If only with friends, then why use discord and not in-game chat?
I did try discord once but I didnt get anywhere…

only with your friends in group. and why use it? cause it offers better experience than ingame chat.

OK…so no chat ever for me in this game then, I guess.
I joined the enlisted discord server.
All empty.
I need to add my friends from enlisted, as you said.
I do have a few friends in enlisted (I only accept invitations, never invite myself).
I cant communicate with them in the game.
I can only add them in dicsord if I have their discord name
I dont know if they have discord.
I dont know if their enlisted name is the same as the discord name.
I tried to invite one enlisted friend to discord but the name didnt exist.
So I must still be doing something wrong or I can just forget about chat.
Sorry for the help request, I’m a discord noob and find it very unclear.

Yeah thanks, that’s the problem, I dont use premade squads.
I think that launching the discord and then playing the game has become routine for many people. However, there are some people who don’t intend to play discord, and it is odd that this game relies almost entirely on external apps for its social features.
The game does not allow any in-game communication with people you meet in the game. If you can text chat or message your friends in the lobby, or communicate via in-game VC, you don’t need discord.
Imagine, it would be nice to have friends that you can easily contact only when you activate the game, without having to create relationships on discord.
