30.02 (D) because nothing will make the German players happy unless they can delete half the Allied BR5. But Germans make sexy tanks i cannot lie. We are all sick of how many PZ 3’S and 4’s there are. The trouble is a lot of German tanks are just so good they fall in BR 4 5. you have heavy armor and guns and you just have to go high br. Well sure a few of these have been suggested but i love German armor no goos step.

Well okay - weaker Panther prototypes, considering that Panthers are already sitting in BR4, why would anyone ever pick one if not in BR3 - which would be OP as hell.

Panther A/G should go up to BR5, Add new crappy Panther F at BR4 with much less protected turret, Tiger 1 E to BR4 and we should get Panther prototypes with weaker armor at BR3 so they would be a fair duel for Shermans 76mm, not realistic but pretty fun where both could one shot each other.
Not true, your armor would be really really weak, you will get one shotted just like Shermans. So it fits right at BR3, and there is much weaker Panther F to add to BR4, both Panther A/G need to go up in BR as they are stronger than Tiger E/H1 and E needs to go to BR4.
Doesnt it still have have 60mm of hull armor instead of 80?
And turret is still 80mm so it isnt really as much of a glasscannon as you say.

A bit faster due to less weight and armor that would still be OK when facing BR 3 in a downtier.
So there is a trade off, even if most players would favors the armor over a bit more speed.
But when armor is already beeing defeated by the meta BR 5 tanks the speed might be more usefull.
So it’s still less of hull armor than my Panzer 4 G and yet it’s at BR3, slopped armor is irrelevant as Shermans are much taller than for example VK3002. It’s not like Gaijin can’t nerf it’s hull armor to get penned by Shermans in any direction anyway. Besides Panthers have awful TNT content in their rounds while once Sherman pens your tank it’s almost always a game over.
I don’t like the idea of prototypes being faster then main production tanks - simply because those prototypes are more fragile and realistically speaking would break down faster, so they shouldn’t be faster in reality.
Also 60mm of sloped armor is apparently already too much for BR3 since Jagdpanzer IV L48 is BR4.
I personally am opposed to it beeing BR 3 but I probably could have made that more clear.
It is just othere people claiming its armor would somehow be terrible when it really isnt.
It is not that the engine is better than in the finished designs but just not yet hopelessly overburdened like most of the tanks nearing the end of the war.
In that regard you are comparing 2 very diffrent tanks, so speed should reflect that.
