This could be an interesting gun to see in game,it’s basically 2 beretta 1918s smashed together into 1 gun.I feel this should go to a machine gunner at low BR,it trades hit power,reload speed,and overall versatility for ROF and controllability.

These are all cool guns, but did any of these see any actual service in WW2?

Yes,most of these in some way or another were used,sometimes to equip reserves/rear troops or out of desperation to find anything that shoots.

See its certainly a possibility but I cant find even a single crumb of evidence pointing to it being used at all in WW2 in any capacity. The OVP certainly was but thats a later derivative I would call heavily inspired instead.

For these gun suggestions, I think instead of pointing out all sorts of fascinating guns from the era, perhaps give a little backstory to their use in WW2 and what sort of squad they might fit with.

It could have been used fairly easily,since I’m pretty sure there were surviving examples by WW2.and besides,we have things like the As44 in game which was tested post war I’m pretty sure,so something that could have potentially been used is fine.I can try to put some of the backstory for some of these guns in the future posts.
If we have one fake gun it doesnt mean we need more. We can all agree as 44 was dumb and unneccessary addition but it is too late to remove it now. But i will change my opinion on villar perosa once i get an source of it being used in ww2

I mean iso said it well, one dumb addition isnt an excuse for more.
