View obscuring HUD icons

I know it was mentioned ealier, but it wasn’t resolved so I’m bringing it up. Give us option to toggle on/off HUD markers with a hotkey. I don’t even remember how many times I was killed because objective marker, kill indicator or spotted enemy marker obstructed my field of view exactly where enemy was (window, dorway etc.). I know we can turn it off completely but at the same time it turns off other info from the bottom panel like ammo count etc. Turning off markers in the options doesn’t affect objective icons , which are most intrusive and annoying.

or just let ppl change opacity

In the middle of the gunfight I won’t bother clicking a key to toggle an icon on/off. Make it gradually disappear if the middle of your screen is near.
We live in XXI century Goddamn, automatise things!

No one says it must be done in the middle of a gunfight. Most of the players know where the objectives are, and they can be checked on the map. I would like to have option to turn them off. For good. Unless I want to check it for some reason, then I press the key and in few seconds I know all I wanted to know and turn them off again.

Imo it’s unnecesarry micromanagment. But if you like it, fine.
I hope that my idea also will be implemented as an option.

I would love an option to FADE hud elements which are close to the center of the screen.
With an added option to FADE hud elements which are close to the center of the screen when aiming down sights.

back in the alpha this was suggested multiple times, and yet we have nothing of that :upside_down_face:
