I got this odd squad from the Box while i was fishing for boosters for my BR II grinds. It really has an odd mix of weapons with that BRI AT & a bunch of AVS-36 . But i can see that the AVS-36 can be moved around. Are they any good for BR I ? Thats the 2nd squad i got along a GAZ AA truck, but that one didnt seem any usefull.
For BR1 Vs BR2 yes, aganaist BR3 no
They’re good for shooting down planes, otherwise useless. As all AT rifles are.

well you cant use them in br1 unless you change their main gun and here a little history lesson why this class have br5 gun and br1 AT gun
so back when campaign was a thing this squad was for moscow and that why they have that AT gun so yea change their gun to whatever you like otherwise you will get sent to br5
as for their AT gun idk tbh haven’t use them in a while
Nah the semi auto ATRs are fine in low BRs, particularly the 20mm japanese one. But PTRD will also work fine against most BR 2 threats.
Because it’s basically 20mm cannon, not a rifle xD

This gun on them seems to be worse than the TT PTRD , looks like i got the 2 most useless unit from the box. Getting 2 was nice , but both seem to be a waste of a slot on my 3inf+1tank. Anyways 10 more days on the box, maybe i will get some decent squad in that time.
As for that AVS-36 i also picked up the NKVD guys with the BR V gear & from idk where i got a T-34-85 too, i havent really bothered playing the soviets but 1 more squad worth of gear and i will have a BR V linup even without getting BR II done on them
