well missions/events that require certain amount of kills with certain weapons are stupid. i had problem with smg one cause i only had 2 guys with smg in my squads (ofcourse i could switch them with already grinded assault squads and be done in 1-2 battles, but i didnt want to).
also weekly mission required 30 pistol kills… that just made me play like an idiot rushing with pistol at the enemies. and i only had few pistols equiped. it is tedious…
i would rather have mission that says kill 500 enemies than mission kill 30 people with pistol.

I’d like to make my last whine about events. Now it’s 50 FlameThrower kills. Not the best. You have one FT squad with 2 FT’s in it. It takes ages to get to respawn with it. I just played the first game, i chose allied Normandy for having flamethrower squad there and some close combat. Got the airfield hangars invasion, and 1 FT kill in about 20 minutes(?). That’s like 17 hours. I do think my ratio will improve but i just wanna finish this by saying screw this game!! (Why am i forced to play it?).
In my opinion other than MG and flamethrower all tasks were ok. YMMV though as I just don’t have decent mg’s unlocked I believe it should be pretty easy with a proper machineguns.
But MG task could be played on a weekend.
Nothing like that tbh the tasks they put here are pretty casual. The only issue I see is for a new player who didn’t unlock the weapons required to do them yet.
Keeep in mind i am a very casual player at this game and although sometimes i do have games with around 100 kils or slightly more sometimes i spend matches doing completely my own shit cus i am having fun and getting roughly 30-40 frags.
Take small squads of 3-4 people along the flamethrower squad so you can respawn faster if you have flamethrower II (I don’t) i believe you can put both of those squads together in a roster.
And I agree with people that this one was not the best task.
I was lucky to have a bombing map made most of the frags in one battle.

Usually i troll to roll something decent and change it if i have a task i don’t like on those. If i fail i just wait for another reroll. Like it’s fine to do specific stuff for an event like it’s now. But i came here to play the game not the game to play me. So i don’t care much about those.

Yeah, there’s gonna be at least one or three missions that are really lomg to complete. 50 flamer kills is nuts - I guess you could quit every match after using the squad, but the game shouldn’t need to be played that way.
Just waiting for the teabagger in here who blames skill level on that task. He did it in one match blah blah.
Doing your own shit is awesome, I love doing that! I mean, obviously gotta help the match out, can’t wander off all the while your team is hurtin. Depends on how the match is going - those battles where you’re gonna win or lose no matter what and you’re not on a murder streak are good for scouting out new spots or tactics.
Grinding missions this extreme can be a double burn for this kind of play style.
From my experience matches where you quit don’t count.
I had to do an hour long invasion just to get that 1 last kill the other day.
Also 50 flamethrower kills is indeed insane. Having just one flamethrower in each faction, I made 5 kills and realized it would take me at least a week to get 50.

Mostly a matter of luck. I did most of my frags in one game. But in the others i did like 2 and 0 lol.
You just need to be lucky to flame a bunch of units or make a streak. Either waiting for them to come to you and bushwack em or rushing to a particular spot f.e when people try to capture a point or peopple runnin outside of a bunker door.
So totally hit or miss thing.

I did that in Berlin and Stalingrad to roll the victory because i am not playing those and not really interested. Ain’t no shame in my game.

i also roll when it is daily task, or just skip it if i cant… i was doing this for weekly which was retarded, but i can foresee this kind of task in future events.

I got to 38 kills with flames and ran outta gas. Figuratively.
I literally ran out of gas(or should i say oil) in one game.

it was easier than i thought. about 3 battles of few soldiers with pistols just yolo suiciding… sad part is that i was nr 1 spot on team 2 times and we still had 3 victories…
