Allow us to use Axe in order to destroy sandbags and other obstacles faster. That would make an axe useful rather than just being another skin for a melee weapon and give a purpose to buy it. The bonus shouldn’t be that big but it would make sense that with an axe you can dismantle them faster than with bare hands for example.

I still think the ax should be able to cut down certain trees to clear the way for MGs and movement

The axe is not another skin for melee weapon. It dealt much more damage than a knife. It dealt the same amount of damage as bayonet, which can ohk people most of the time.

I think that would be a good thing for small bushes and trees if it’s technically possible in the game.

axes should be able to cut faster certain structures and chop down trees or bushes, smaller ones at least and if you have a group of friends,they could down bigger trees
It’s still not significant enough to make a difference. No one uses melee weapons itself unless for the daily quest, troll, or out of desperation because people have bayonets.
That is the main usage of melee weapon Lol. Remember, this is WW2 game not a medieval simulator. What is the point of encouraging people using melee weapon in a ww2 game?
They do though with those melee kill tasks. Also as in reality axe is not only melee weapon it’s also an utility tool.

As Jap main I use melee only, thats not a rifle - thats a spear!

I meant melee like melee weapon not a rifle with a bayonet. That one I use it as well cuz Rising Storm school.
