US in Pacific are being spoiled

It’s quite an overreaction by the devs to buff US cap times and reinforcements this extremely, especially considering that they already have a noticeable equipment advantage. When a Japanese team loses against a US team, it feels less like our team failing and more like the enemy being carried past our defenses by an overbearing mother. The balance of campaigns by cap times is a whac-a-mole solution and should be replaced by an algorithm which analyzes player counts, ranks, levels etc, to decide which side needs buffs.
I don’t think the US is ridiculously OP on its own. The M13 dies to 3 bayonet stabs and the BAR is stuck in the hands of a squishy infantryman that dies pretty quickly to just about anything. However, the massive buffs they get are too much, and it makes them not fun to play against(and probably pretty boring to play as). Battles for them must feel more like a jungle hike than an actual combat scenario.

well, shorter cap time isnt solution for sure

Idk wtf the devs are thinking with manipulating cap times to “balance” campaigns. This campaign is gonna be a total bust at this rate

Allies are capping points in like 15-20 seconds. Considering they already have the advantage, this should really be reverted.

agree but they need to win st too somehow. in few first days after update that was huge problem

They don’t need to scramble to balance the game for half a week that people flock to Japan only to revert it right afterwards.

true, too hurry

Yep the Allies cap so fast that when you are on an Axis team with 7+ Marshall’s you are almost certainly going to loose first cap since everyone will be off building rallies.

I think that might have to do with fact that many people want to try some new stuff so majority of players are basically playing Japanese side, which is quite understandable and frankly could be very easily predicated. And I believe give it a week or so then the numbers of players on both sides will be more balanced and it will happen naturally, not like rn basically forced us to switch sides.

Yup, seems like the devs are panicking as if this wasn’t clearly gonna happen and managed to fuck the campaign up really badly. I mean come on, this is so stupid

From my experience, the cap speed that people are complaining about is due to the fact that the US players seem to be zerg rushing points with every player on the team on games that they win, which causes the cap speed multiplier to kick into overdrive and speed up the cap speed way more. On the few maps that the Japanese do attack on, a similar thing can be achieved with good team coordination, but for some reason the Japanese players seem to be less able to do that. This may be the Tunisia problem, where most of the time players are playing the Japanese and thus the Japanese win more times than not, but when they do lose, it’s typically to a 4 stack of tryhards who stomp through without dropping below 500 tickets the whole game.

Yeah. It feels like there’s no happy medium.
