I think it’s quite simple: Big buff to Soviets (Su-9 as it’s not top tier jet it’s just average), small buff to Americans/Japan, extra tiny buff to Germany and also new German MG at BR5.
Japan can have good (German manufactured) smgs but not Germany for some reason. And that reason is that Gaijin wants to keep Germany weak as their punching bag for Soviets and Americans.
I think there’s probably a company ethics dilemma in making nazi germany competitive, as it would require deviating from historical weapons in such a way that would benefit the image of the Nazis. Japans slightly different, as they absolutely need unrealistic buffs for the faction to be even playable, but the historical German weapons weren’t complete dogshit, they were just definitively worse than what the western and eastern allies had… giving them a slight buff to make them equal would be more likely to be seen as subtle pro-nazi sentiment than a massive japan buff is when compared to historical performance. And this game is made in Russia. You really don’t want to risk being even slightly pro-nazi there.
