At the very least we can have “different” looking and naming launcher from the Allies and we can finally ditch that stupid looking gas mask!

I was thinking about that one dude with the gasmask just the other day, but the one carrying the MG-42 in the final level where you have to sabotage the flak tower. That’s how it feels to finally shoot a 100 rounds belt fed MG-42 in Enlisted. MOH Airborne is an underrated classic.

Well, that would be illogical. The shield was literally added as protection against fumes, so the gas mask was no longer needed.
But whatever. We already have Mr. Rust.

not sure the rocket combustion was that healthy 
It does not protect against the fumes as those are just gas. It protects from the still live rocketmotor blasting your face.
It certainly isnt but there are worse things on the battlefield. Half of the smoke grenades were not that healthy eighter but still were issued to normal infantry.
Soldiers are more concerned about a tank/mg shooting them than some toxic build up that might maybe affect them in the future should they even survive the war.
