ENLISTED NEW GRINGIND IDEA

Hello, I want to share with community with my idea of grinding system for every single soldier in Enlisted.
I want to explain with example:

As you know, on war every single soldier can get a Medal for something special on war.
Alvin York, Desmond Doss, Ivan Sidorenko, Vasily Zaitsev, Matthäus Hetzenauer, Erich Hartmann it’s small percent of them.
Why shouldn’t Enlisted let us create our own legends from wars?

Description of the idea

Situation when Gaijin decide to make update like this

Gaijin create new system grinding for EVERY SINGLE soldier in game for your squad.
This system will NOT CHANGE anything in game stats like (aiming, speed) It will be only “Cosmetical, Graphical Update”
In main menu of Enlisted now we have tabs: Weaponry, Perks, Appearance + New one called “Service Medals”

In this tab our soldiers will have medals for duty, listed one by one with descriptions for what He get the medal

(Example)

501ST PARACHUTE INFANTRY REGIMENT
Soldier Name: Kenneth Wall
Medal Of Grey Star (With Graphic of Medal) : For fight in 200/500/1000 battles
Medal Of Blue Hearth (With Graphic of Medal): For rescue 200/400/600 injured allies

and, of course Tanker will have it for destroy 200 enemy vehicles, Snipers for kill etc, etc.

In Enlisted grinding is boring, after you get max levels of campaign you have only single soldiers to level.
I think this Grinding system don’t make chaos in gameplay but give us a little more realism and opportunity to “Create” OUR Heroes from epic battles.
This is not complicated to create and implement this system to the game and maybe finally give “Us” (People like me who just like to make achievements) to watch how our soldeirs become LEGENDS.

but…

gold order soldiers should be the ones actually having the medal.

( at least visually )

but, it would sound a good system for example, having tank hunter badge in bronze for how many tanks have been destroyed by a soldier, up to the gold. ( at least, that’s how german medals worked )

so for example, 100 for a bronze, 250 for silver, and 500 for the gold one.

then, we’d have the close combat clasp, for how many melee kills.

then the sport badge, driver badge, etc.

but those soldiers should not get iron crosses ,victoria and hero medal soldiers that are on the gold order soldiers.

otherwise would kinda make them useless.

To be honest I can agree with you in 50%. Probably the most Enlisted players said, gold orders for soldiers are useless. Only on Tunisia and (Maybe Pacific?) they do something becouse Gold Order have engineer earlier.
I think about add or combine this system with Gold Orders.
The Medals in Enlisted can be totally fantasy created - becouse we have hundreds of opportunity to get it for something.
Even Engineers maybe FINALLY start be more used by random players and help teammates.
But, yeah. My idea is something like you think in reply. Maybe I add to this something more after time.

As a budding player with only 5k games, I think some of my soldiers’ medals may need to be cast as plate armour to wear.

if ya lead a sqaud and i noticed they don’t fire back they stand up n become sitting ducks I noticed more when u take a room n its taking adef position they don’t do shit but die is it me or is this normal of u run to get into cover n they stand Infront of a mg post or a tank they don’t fire back they their canon fodder no wonder gusy get 150 kills

They should display medals on roster but not on battle obviously.

I like the idea of marking the soldiers merits with medals. It adds dept to games.

In an mmo like ESO you get achievements for killing said amounts of specific monsters or players and unlock cosmetic items for it.

Love the op idea and where it can lead.

at least let me use my gold order for my own soldiers.
I rather have a soldier I like with that medal than a random dude with the name of a hero. (seriously the faces dont even match).

honestly, as useless as GO soldiers are, I feel like they should come pre equipped with a gun, pistol and pouch than they would have a use in new campaigns. OR at very least let use rename and customize the soldier for free.

I think this is a pretty good idea.

So, an average soldier who obtains the medal through grinding can have the ability to make this customizable on a uniform, and every type of medal (including the gold soldiers) can boost a certain amount of perk points (depending on the type of medal, for ex: If a soldier was rewarded for surviving the whole game without being killed, the medal will give 3 vitality perks. But the maximum perks that a medal can give is 3-4). Also, each medal can give a minimum of 5% exp boost depending on the medal. However, the gold soldiers will have multiple medals depending on which medal they earned in real life/or in the game and they will still have a 25% boost to make them more valuable. And, they should be limited on how much a person can earn medals for the soldiers, meaning your average soldier can have a maximum number of 4-5 medals, while gold soldiers can have 6-7 medals at maximum.
