German Premium EMP squad with incorrect outfits

Luftwaffe Field Division

Erma EMP squad is a Luftwaffe Field division squad.
Since it was a Luftwaffe division, they wore Luftwaffe uniforms.

But in-game now, Those soldiers wear the Uniform of Heer,
The same one As the one “Normal” soldiers wear.

awkwardly minified helmet cover pattern, Luftwaffe soldiers wearing HEER uniform, etc.

So I suggest changing their Uniform to “Proper” ones.

Luftwaffe Soldier with Identical Blue Flight blouse, With Helmets (or the Cap) on it.

Now This is what they should have looked like, just like in real life what they wore.

from left to right, You can see them wearing M35 Stahlhelm, M43 cap and Fallschirmjägerhelm.

It won’t be that hard to change this, just replacing their clothes with the Flight Blouse will do.

For the Squad’s Identity, and for its worth, Their clothes must be changed.

No, they aren’t. Have you ever checked the References?

When Operation Goodwood was brought to a halt two days later, the 16. LwFD had lost all its regiment & battalion commanders, Literally beheaded. the division was disbanded and its men transferred to 21. PanzerDivision to make up for some of its earlier losses. There, they kept fighting until the end of the campaign.

This is a photo of LwFD remnants fighting with 21. PanzerDivision.
The Soldier on left is wearing Flightblouse since he is a remnant of LwFD, while the soldier on middle is wearing Heer uniform with Heer ranks.

Basically, Luftwaffe Field Division soldiers wore Flightblouse as their standard uniform.

But as you can clearly see, if you aren’t blind, Those soldiers are wearing M43 Heer Tunic under the Zeltbahn.

Since the cloth texture of Zeltbahn is inseparable from the under cloths (M43 Tunic) since they are all merged together, The easiest way to make the squad historical and identical is to replace their clothes with Luftwaffe FlightBlouse(which is already in-game!)

awesome research and love the editing!

hopefully this is just a placeholder until we get proper uniforms.

with allied troops we already have a distinction with infantry and airborne.

in future hopefully we’ll get wermacht/ss/luftwaffeFD/FJ distinction
and hopefully they do the proper research not just 5mins off google.

these are tiny details that would win over a lot of history buffs and attract more players

for how much i’d like them to be change.

i don’t think they will.

for a few reasons.

first one being, they don’t usually change premium squad cosmetic. in fact, i dont recall that ever happened outside the only time prems got changed from 5 stars, to 4.

otherwise, people that buy the cosmetic for the helmet ( which it’s the “”“unique”"" ) " thing " ( included the weapon ) that people buy it for.

like, we have no helmet cover of that type outside berlin and this squad.

therefore, people that bought the cosmetic liking it that way, would complain if things would change.

and i’m not sure, but making paying stuff, and than changing it, i’m not sure of it’s a ok thing to do according to some law or stuff.

so…
i have my doubts this will ever change.

but, if other field division will appear, they should look like this.
we can only hope.

I still think there will be a chance for it, As they’ve done this before.

Originally Chauchat squad used to have a blue coat before.

But some guys argued on Forum “This isnt historical,” and eventually changed to current yellow coat.

As they have done this before once, why not twice?
I still believe they can, and someday will.
