we already reminded devs of this this week
Which file do they need to edit? can you point me to it? There are so many files that you have to check that i’m kinda lost. Are those one of vromfs.bin files? Or something else?
well, in the editor, is rather easy to fix:
attachable_wear_planetree_summer_tunic_01_ger_summer_item{
_override:b=yes
"animchar__objTexReplace:object"{
"ger_tunic_3_tex_d*":t="ger_tunic_planetree_summer_tex_d*"
"ger_tunic_3_tex_n*":t="ger_tunic_planetree_summer_tex_n*"
}
}
as for the official,
even simpler. ( we can’t edit them… which it’s what THEY SHOULD HAVE DONE THE FIRST DAY )
head over ww2_ger_items.blk
look for:
attachable_wear_planetree_summer_tunic_01_ger_summer_item{
_use:t="attachable_tunic"
_use:t="attachable_wear_tunic_m43_peadot_01_ger_summer_item"
}
and change it onto:
attachable_wear_planetree_summer_tunic_01_ger_summer_item{
_use:t="attachable_tunic"
_use:t="attachable_wear_tunic_01_ger_summer_item"
"animchar__objTexReplace:object"{
"ger_tunic_3_tex_d*":t="ger_tunic_planetree_summer_tex_d*"
"ger_tunic_3_tex_n*":t="ger_tunic_planetree_summer_tex_n*"
}
}
and the same goes to the medic version
( which i admit i made a mistake on some of the bug reports which i assume it was also a plane tree summer, but it was a plane tree autnum ( an unreleased orange one which should have been according to devs, given to the medics. but they have some weird fantasyies with the “stalingrad” pea dot )
attachable_wear_planetree_autnum_tunic_01_medic_ger_summer_item{
_use:t="attachable_tunic"
_use:t="attachable_wear_tunic_01_medic_ger_summer_item"
"animchar__objTexReplace:object"{
"ger_tunic_3_tex_d*":t="ger_tunic_peadot_tex_d*"
"ger_tunic_3_tex_n*":t="ger_tunic_peadot_tex_n*"
}
}
TO:
attachable_wear_planetree_autnum_tunic_01_medic_ger_summer_item{
_use:t="attachable_tunic"
_use:t="attachable_wear_tunic_01_medic_ger_summer_item"
"animchar__objTexReplace:object"{
"ger_tunic_3_tex_d*":t="ger_tunic_planetree_tex_d*"
"ger_tunic_3_tex_n*":t="ger_tunic_planetree_tex_n*"
}
}
like it’s even in the name.
but it appears to be rocket science apparently.
who could have guessed that a Pea Dot =/= Planetree
But guys please!
it’s not that easy!
that reminds me … its been a while …
You can remind them of this as well, tired of waiting…
As you rightly mentioned these things do get fixed. But it takes an awful amount of time for such a small fix. Which could be easily accomodated in these mini update fixes. Case in point being the frog skin camo for the Pacific.
It was fixed in the November, 2024 QoL update. Link: Preliminary patch notes of update (November 15)
Just something for the devs to consider.
It is still fully intended to rebalance XP/upgrades for old squads. It will happen soon!

That’s a real gem right there.
@MajorMcDonalds or @Euthymia07
Just a query:
Has there been discussion/ forwarding to the devs about this present’s BP weapon, the Solothurn?
Most of the community believes that it’s not worth using at br2. It’s a shame as it’s a beautiful piece.
At br1 it would work, EVEN with the necessity to be prone or with bipods.
Thank you.
Alternatively, did they intentionally steal it for a premium/event squad? There is also this unused one in the mods editor.
that’s supposed to be on the medic already.
because as you can see, the autumn version is orange
the summer version is green.
and as you can see, both versions are bugged because references seems to be a hard thing around here.
but not for controversial hats.
no no.
Nice. Thanks for the heads up. Appreciate it.

It’s been too long, it’s time for a change. Thank you for your reply
Just feels frustrating. Hopefully, one fine day we will actually get a fix. Fingers crossed.
The French mas is supposed to have stats like a jap smg. How about pushing for 20 rd kiraly for br 3.
I wonder when will the fix for the use of binoculars on the sherman tanks, I cant see sheit from a far. I can even pull out my primary weapon when enemy infantry is close to the tank.
SIG MKMO had variants with 20, 30 or 40 rounds but there is little to no evidence of Danuvia submachine guns using anything other than 40 round mags.
