i said some time ago that teleporting to the rally point shouldnt be a thing, it was said to be a bad idea, now we are already seeing consequences;
people started to place mines on rally point instead of destroying it, (to-rally-)allied soldiers cant remove it and spawning on the point causes mine to explode immediattelly, blowing away the rally point along with the squad, and taking away tickets for attacking team
the idea of rally point seems to be to be able to flank the enemy more massively or just establish foward base, but i really suggest any other more realistic mechanic than this
a fix for placing mines on rallies and instagibing the enemy would be to give the newly spawned players a few frames of invincibility for the mine to explode
paratroopers, secondary pre-set spawn points that need to be captured, call for off-map reinforcements, that arrive at selected enemy flank,…
bassicly, imagine you are playing an rts game, you aint just teleporting your soldiers to the front, i know that this game is not an rts game, but thats how realism works

What walking simulator? Some invasion maps are literally 300m long (I mean playable area). You have 200-150m to point from spawn. It’s 1-2 min run (not sprint).
I don’t support removing rally points but what you say is pure BS.
Placing mines on rally points placed way too near the obj.? It’s… SMART!
I respect crafty ppl. Wouldn’t change a thing here. You don’t like that? Then either build your rally points further away or chose those who you deem safe.
“Hey guys don’t place mines on my rp, I want to win against you all, and this behavior prevents me toooo!!!”
but why not just doing this every time? after all, there is no way to remove them without detonating, so they will always at least destroy the rally, and take away the tickets from the team
my point isnt only that people place mines on the rally, but that its absurd that soldiers just get teleported into the spawn location instead of arriving there - as the title says unrealistic rules means unrealistic strategy, my point is that realism is not to the acceptable arcadish level, but straightly broke
