“Unrealistic Realism” #2: reviving

Cons of self-reviving:

  • Squad members don’t die even if all of them are knocked - double ttk per squad
  • Moving in knocked out state - increased ttk per squad
  • Shitting grenades (stupidest comeback mechanic I’ve ever seen) - increased ttk per squad

Suggestion:

  • No moving and shitting grenades in knock
  • Only squadmates and medics can revive (including bots)
  • Time to revive is 5 sec
  • Time to revive with medic perk - 2.5, with general healing perk - 3.5
  • Squad dies, when all members are knocked and no medic in 20 meters

Moving or shitting?

Both, it allows me to escape the enemy if possible and to kill as much as I can when I know I’m about to die

You should not be overwhelmed with realism because enlisted is not a 100% simulation of ww2 and most of us don’t want that

What if make moving in knock state as a special perk for 14 vit?
And nade shitting for 5 vit?

But you agree, that self-revive is stupid?

There used to be polls on this forum but they were removed last year

Most enlisted players are okay with mixing arcade and realistic

Most who wanted simulation and strict historical accuracy came from war thunder community

Arcade - self-revive
Sim - instant death/knock
Mix - team revive
