Unknown pistol

Given that it’s being displayed with the famous Hurgiwerstivestive pistol, I would guess it’s probably Japanese. Maybe a lesser known variant of the Nambu.

Looks like a homemade gun made out of a Ruger Standard barrel and whatever else was around the shop.

comment on the silver pistol from Pinterst, which has the same photo: https://nz.pinterest.com/pin/113715959320315012/

Appears Asiatic in origin, but writer has found no comparable pistol in any references. Left side of barrel marked “A.02032. B.F.54.” with a vertically installed harmonica breechblock. Blade front sight and rear dovetail sight slot, with a smooth bore barrel. Serial number is marked on the left side of the frame under the grip. Fitted with checkered grips numbered to gun. BBL: 3 1/2 inch round Stock: Gauge: 9 mm Finish: nickel Grips: walnut Serial Number: A.02032B.F.54 Condition: Replated. The pistol retains 95% chrome finish with holster type wear on the receiver and some minor scratches, with a small patch of oxidation on the right side of the receiver. The grips are fine with a few minor nicks in the overall crisp checkering.
