Honestly a very underrated gold weapon, a lot of people don’t like it for its sights, but it’s dang powerful!
What do you all think?

i like it, and its sights, but sometimes i think it should be even more powerful, though i usually one hit everything with it, its long range accuracy is not bad for a semi auto enlisted weapon but i thought it could be better
I use it every match, it’s one of my favored weapons and I dislike semis in general as they’re worst than bolties since the rof nerf.
The Pavesi however has great stopping power, a great weapon.
Need to take one I assume.
I cannot remember that ROF nerf (happened perhaps before my active playing time) and how significant the nerf was but to me semi autos feel sometimes very inaccurate as well as lacking stopping power - except for the Pavesi of course ^^ To me thats their main disadvantage.
Perhaps though when the new mechanics of Stalingrad will finally be introduced to the other campaigns at least their one-hit-kill potential will improve.
Nice video btw. You just got yourself another subscriber.
Before, the rof of semis was realistic, it depended on how fast you pulled the trigger (pushed mouse button). It was good for cqc.
In Stalingrad, the Czech semi have the pre nerf rof for some reason, and it works great. It does have a bit more recoil than in other campaigns… But that recoil makes sense, so I’m ok with it.
Right now however, all (or almost) semis do around 12 damage stock… that combined with an artificial unrealistic rof cap makes them INFERIOR to bolties, with which you can kill or at least down in a single shot quite reliably…
The silly thing was that semis were used as a stop gap weapon before automatic rifles such as AVT or fg42. You could compete easily against those! Not anymore… I liked semis better than fg42 in all honesty, and I could vary my loadout a lot and remain competitive.
One good thing came out of it for me thought: Since I stopped using semis completely (Exept m1 carbines and the great Pavesi) and started maining bolties… I became rather proficient with them and can even storm rooms with them (which makes no sense, thinking about it)
Well that’s unfortunate. I hope they revert that change just like the intentional inaccuracy of bolt actions nerf back then when I started with the game. To be honest I don’t know why you would make such an unrealistic ROF nerf in the first place except for balancing reasons.
I can’t help but wonder though why of all the rifles you deliberately abandoned you would still use the M1. I kinda like semi automatics but the M1 feels extremely weak to me.
before the nerf the semis were kinda like slow autos if you clicked fast enough and either had the 40% less recoil perk or stabilized well with your mouse movement, now they feel sluggish
fully upgraded zh-29 still feels like the pre nerf semis
ah, yes clearing rooms with a bolt-action, a man of culture I see
Yes… To be honest I’m glad bayonets are now functional; 5 bullets is relatively low to clear a room especially outside Stalingrad where it just down and doesn’t kill outright
I still use it because it’s rof is acceptable surprisingly good in Tunisia, 2 quick shot is allI need vs anyone. It’s a really underestimated tool.
