Uncensored Germany would boost the game's rating

CoD WaW and Wolfenstein are common topics because they’re brave enough to not censore.
I guess we all are tired or every newly released game that’s not even historically accurate at all.

i do hate the game for just a shameful attempt to be historically accurate but uncensoring Germany wont fix that

Some things in this game can even undergo double censorship. So pathetic.

For example swastika, with default settings it’s already censored.
But with harmonization mode on, the already censored swastika gets censored even more. I guess even the cross is way too much for some people.

This is the world we live in I guess. There’s still need to censore nearly 100 year old history. So sad.

It’s been said many times. It’s an online game, so there is censore. Wulfenstein doesn’t.
Brave enough only within the limits of the law.

That’s very poor excuse. Since there’s special treatment for Netherlands because of their gamble policy/laws already.

They could easily add “historical mode” (just like we have harmonization mode) for countries that has no need to censore 100 year old historical symbols.

Here’s the explanation: if a game has a story and a moral that opposes Nazism or portrays it in a negative way, it is allowed to use the symbols. In other cases, like in Enlisted, where there is no moral or story, it wouldn’t be allowed, as the USK, the body that regulates this matter in germany, would prohibit it

The problem is how are any different from the 1930s Germany if we can’t even display a swastika in a WW2 game… in the 21st century?
And if you have problem with that then don’t play historical games, it’s as simple as that.
We don’t have to change the timeline because of some soft players.
As a WW2 enjoyer I’m willing to see uncensored German flags and authentic german uniforms, not their ridiculous copies.
If you are uncomfortable with WW2, then find some other shooter pvp.
That’s the problem.

that is BS statement. they simply didnt even try to pass it through the USK cause they didnt want to bother. there are clear guidelines on what could be permitted and enlisted would fall into those guidelines. of course it is not 100% that it would pass but it had more chances of passing than not cause it depicted real historical battles, with real squads(and its uniforms), vehicles(and their camo) and weapons and it was one of the selling points of the game.

of course with the merge(and loads of prototypes) lot of that was lost, but it would still enhance historical accuracy of the game. if they tried to pass it 2-3 years it would probably 90% pass, idk about chances for today.
