Unbalanced mess

I’m a new player that joined a few days ago. Watched some reviews and decided to start.
After a couple of battles, I’m already looking for something else. I lost almost all games until now. The Germans are close to impossible to beat in the invasion maps. They always dig in, come with tanks that have good mobility while I’m basically throwing stones at the enemy.

The game needs balance among factions + matchmaking. I see this game dyeing fast if not.

Maybe just some final thoughts. I’m used to a certain degree of imbalance. I’m here after 8 years of World of Tanks. This on the other hand need a lot of work.

Solution:

Be more open minded and try something else than the overdone Normandy campaign (made in almost EVERY other ww2 games.)

Then don’t play Germans at the start?

Or loosing matches its enough for you to quit the game maybe a fps isn’t the game for you.

The more you play, the more you gonna be better at this at certain degree, don’t waste your mind over the grind or win rate. Focus on your personal fun/gain at the start. And care less. If you win or loose now.

I’m not frustrated about loosing. It’s perfectly normal to loose more than half your games if your a new player. It just looks close to impossible to win here.

It’s Normandy for you…

A serious advice (take it, I rarely give them)
If you join a match on a beach map, quit and try to find another. Those are frustrating and plain unfun, even for veterans players so I can well imagine new players…
Unless you love getting bombed and dying under mg42 fire.

Also of note since you come from arcade WoT: you probably use the Stuart tank, right? Use it exactly as in WoT. It’s a light tank, it’s made to flank and is unbelievably good at that role. (But again, dday maps are just slaughterfests, and are poor for tank play, just avoid)

I can suggest you to play on EEU servers should it be easier to play with Americans

I recommend just playing moscow or tunisia allies if you are new to the game. Normandy can be painfull if you dont know what to do

If you want to play as the Western Allies, try Tunisia as it’s a much less chaotic campaign compared to Normandy.

Normandy is not the problem… German are not overpowered.

yeah but most games are like 8/12 ppl lvl 2/12 against 4/5 lvl 20/30 german, they alone can hold/attack the point.
