This is the final straw. Every game I queue in BR3 is an unbalanced mess. Either I have a incompetent team and lose or the enemy team is worse than my own. Now I had a game in BR3 where the enemy team was using BR5 gear. They all had the same clan tag and were queued together. Imagine BR3 but the Japanese with Type Hei Auto Rifles. HOW IS THIS ALLOWED?? This matchmaking system is beyond broken and needs an immediate update to how it works. And you need to be able to view BR or Ranks of teammates and enemies. It is a no brainer in a game in 2024. Matchmaking and online multiplayer games have been around for so long, yet these companies just donāt want to implement it.
The game for me is unplayable and until it is fixed, I will not be playing any more.
Supposedly a month ago a change came to the BR system in which you now had much less chance of playing against BR 3 if you were BR 1 or playing against BR 5 if you were BR 3 depending on the number of people in the session, but Iāll be honest with you, this system, in my opinion, doesnāt work or is broken (like all the mechanics in this game) and I really doubt they will make another change to the matchmaking system.
Though in fairness to DF, Ive been playing Allies BR III for a while now and most battles seem to be around BR III level.
Some Germans had MG42s last battle which was annoying but that was only one squad (they were MG42 āearlyā which Im guessing is premium/event).
As someone has said previously the main issue is tanks. If they got rid of medium/heavy tanks (which in my opinion belong in War Thunder), that would help.
Alternatively maybe tanks are locked to specific BRs and only that BR.
I believe more powerful AT guns for higher ranks is being worked on by the devs.
So by wasting your own time and commenting ābyeā on this post, you achieved what exactly? I wrote this as a serious comment and my thoughts on the game. You donāt agree? Fair enough. But how pathetic do you have to be to run around a forum which is used to give suggestions on the game and comment this childish reply?
Especially for Allies any BR, against tanks all we have is the M9. While it is alright, it doesnāt do the job in high BR games anymore. I just feel like when rocking a full BR3 Squad, you should at least only face BR2 - BR4 players.
But with a Steam launch they are bringing in new players and the whole point was that, to create a new player base. But the state the game is in, these new players wonāt last.
You know, probably no one bitches about the crappy match making more then I do, but I gotta say, the past two days I have actually had far more good games then I have had in the last 4 months. Iām not counting my chickens that it is going to continue, but at least for TWO days, I have actually had fun. I finally started building my level 3 Russians and since playing with them I would have to say that 70% of the games have actually been somewhat competitive. This last game just played I thought we had won as on the very last objective the enemy was down to zero with the end game counter ticking, and low and behold around the 34 second mark, I hear from the seat of my Russian plane āthe enemy is taking the control pointā. I contemplate bailing out but realize there is nothing I can do at that point since I am on my way back to reload and even turning around would make no difference. Anyway, the enemy pulled it outā¦Damn Bastards! So, maybe I have just hit a lucky streak, but playing level 3 Russians for me the past two days has been good. Iām not winning them all, but most of the games have gone to the fourth or final objective. I did get seal clubbed yesterday, playing level 3 allies.
