Usefully tools for sound modding

fmod bank tools: 0.0.1.4 (1.6 its not working)
Read all the guide, specially the notes at the final of this document
First of all, you need activate sound mods on your Settings file
You will go to your game folder and you will enter on enlIsted.config.blk or enlisted.config whit Notepad and find sound lines, like this sample and add this command line in the first line of sound: enableMod:b=yes
In sound folder, create a folder called: mod
Step 1: Download Fmod Bank tools
Step 2: enter on the sound folder
Step 3: copy and paste the files who you want to change their sound in FMOD folders (you can create separated folders for more order, the way you prefer):
Step 4: Click on Extract, you can see the progress of extraction
Now, you can change the audio files
There are Some types of audio files
Body: Player firing sound
E_body: 3rd person firig sound
Loop: sound of a full auto weapon in automode (at this moment only works for certain weapons, butt you better change it if you are going to change the sound of the weapons)
E_Loop: Same as loop, but in 3rd person
Tail: Gun sound after firing
E_tail: same as tail in 3rd person
Loopshot: Same as body in certain weapons
first and shot: (only for few weapons): work like body in first person, it is the sound of your weapon, you can add 2 lines of sound to create more creative sound effects or you can use it like body
E First and E shot: Works like e body, but shorter, use your same E body sound but whit less duration
Now, you can see the name of the weapon who you want change their sound, take your new sound and convert it to wav file (Audacity example):
There are another audio editor software, but audacity its the more stable
, now, replace your sound files
now you replace all audios who you want we are going to rebuild your sound mod file for try it in game
Click replace, and we go back to fmod bank tools, click on rebuild, a cmd windows should will appear
Copy your new bank file and paste it in your sound mod folder in the game
And your sound mod its ready to play
For a quality sound mod there will always be failure and error tests, don’t give up.
Some notes:
-Try to make shorter sounds, if you make unnecessary long you ram can crash
-Use PCM format for gun sounds, use pcm for hangar and in battle songs
-Rifle.bank and mgun dont work whit vorbis format, Use PCM
-Some weapons dont use Loop, just e loop, but change all sounds for a good result
-When the game will update, update your sounds whit the same file but updated, copy and paster your sounds in the updated file
-For death sounds on 1st person change as_player_enlisted_soldier_hit and male1_v_hit (non tested as now for me)
-Tank engines dont work At this moment (maybe in the future we can change their sound), dont touch them
We will work whit files ended in Asset.bank
what means every file:
CMN LOC VO ASSETS: narrators in all languages
CMN Ambient ASSETS: ambient/UI and micelaneous sounds
ENL_VO ASSETS: Soldier player voices
ww2_ambient_music.assets: dont touch
WW2_MB: Moon battle and more sound effects
ww2_vehicle_aircraft_engine.assets: aircraft plane sounds and effects
ww2_vehicle_car_engine.assets: Car engines and effects
ww2_vehicle_tank_impact.assets: tank ricochets and more effects
ww2_walker_soldier.assets: more effects
ww2_walker_soldier_voice.assets: Voice sound effects like ding
WW2 Mgun asset: autoweapons sound
WW2 Rifle asset: Bolt action, semi auto rifles
ww2_weapon_antivehicle.assets: Antitank and rocket launcher sounds
WW2 weapon cannon assets: every weapons whit cannon name like tanks and planes
ww2_weapon_melee_foley.assets: melee and more weapon effects
ww2_weapon_mgun_mounted.assets: More auto weapons, tank MG be like and more sounds
WW2 mgun, rifle or any Foley: Recharging sounds and more effects
