Please don’t get at each other’s throats. Let’s discuss the matter sensibly.
@adam
It’s not a must to set that squad to BR II. It was more of a “thought experiment” than a heartfelt wish and I only wanted to here the community opinions - nothing more.
That’s such hypocritical reasoning. It won’t matter anytime soon, yes.
But once those weapons are downgraded to lower BR, they will be seen as BR2 weapons. They will completely lose any potential to buff and rebalance according to powercreep in the future.
It’s literally just a devaluing of premium squad.
That’s why I hate when BR2 mains are pushing for unnecessary changes like this. Robbing higher BRs of good stuff just so they can bully newbies on lower BRs.
I would be much happier if they left the TZ-45 at BR3 and just correctly buffed the FNAB 43 to it’s correct rate of fire which would then put it on par with the PPS42. IMOP this is a much better plan, especially since the FNAB is a TT weapon while the TZ is one premium squad. Besides, their aren’t many decent level three smg’s for Germany, the only other one I like is the ZK-383.
I would however move the MP-35/I from level three to level two since there is already a level two MP-35 event gun and other then the barrel length they are basically the same gun.
How is it fair for TZ-45 being at BR3? Yeah it’s 2 hit kill weapon but only if you are at close range and when Soviets doesn’t wear their body armor. Sadly i see them using it at BR2-3 more and more often.
M1A1 is a 2hit kill weapon that doesn’t need to go vs Sov turtle army and also due much higher starting dmg it can 2 hk at much longer distances.
I am not a BR II main player (if you mean my person with that). I played all kind of BR’s even the “unpopular” BR IV in past and I also don’t care in past to play with BR III against BR V. And if I am right, my most played battles are in BR V - not BR II.
Currently I have mates grinding the factions which need help - does this makes me a “BR II main” → not really.
Thank you for the factual and constructive manner in which you presented your arguments.
As I said, these were merely “thought experiments” regarding to the TZ-45 Squad.
Of course, I prefer the FNAB-43 buff which hopefully comes “soon™”.
Well, I wouldn’t hold my breath on that as I am batting ZERO with all my suggestions to Gaijin. They love my money, just not my suggestions. To me, the FNAB should be a no brainer, but what do I know.
Did that happen in the past though? Also, at least as of right now, is there something wrong with the gun that requires fixes?
You mean those overpriced (mostly) sidegrade squads only consoomers buy at their full price?
What is the point of value if this squad cannot be sold anyway? You buy the squad for the gun or the skin of the soldiers, maybe for the premium squad perks, not to larp digital Pokemon card collecting.
And in any regard, nothing would change. Still performs the same, the squad is still the same, there is no value to begin with and the only change is BR. And arguably a squad that can be used in more BRs adds more value than a squad that is less flexible.
And if 2 of them is comparable to other factions, how are these 18 other obsolete guns advantage ?
As new player you grind thru guns that are useless, while in other faction you can get competent equipment in just few levels ?
Like I said, It was more a “thought experiments” from my side. I accept your pint of view.
True in that case.
Maybe I am an exception here: I continue to use the PPS-42 on the USSR side because it is much more comfortable for me - good, not very good rate of fire and therefore much more comfortable weapon handling. Same goes for the Lanchester, instead of the M1A1 Thompson - I tested the “tommy gun” and I really don’t like the slow muzzle velocitys. That’s why I used the Lanchester in past on BR III+
Do enlight me what is the purpose of these 18 obsolete smg’s ?
Hard grind thru 18 obsolete smg’s against enemies that unlocks competent equipment in just few levels ?
No shit ? I can fairly confidentally throw a sophisticated guess that majority of people chooses the best available equipment they can have, rather than enjoying 18 different variants of obsolete.
Quite sure I was just asking your reasoning, with what logic having to grind thru 18 obsolete smg’s is advantage ?
well balance should mean something. if on BR2 you have similar gun that is on BR3 for other nation, then either one gun should got to BR2 or other should go to BR3.
