Make Japanese guns like the type HEI,Ko, And other semi automatics firing be less like firing a musket and more visible for the player and soldier as a whole, Smokeless powder was used by the Japanese and it makes little sense to me that they have vision blocking smoke when firing.
See video on what it’s like to shoot the type KO premium squad.

Here is the type HEI (10 round GO) firing and even in hip fire the smoke is insane.

Type hei (late)
I could just be imagining it but the smoke feels less blocking. which is insanely weird.

This is actually historically accurate but it may be a little excessive. WW2 smokeless powder wasn’t completely smokeless, especially the Highly Corrosive Soviet shit.
Jap snipers greatly preferred the Type 97 Sniper Rifle in 6.5×50mmSR because it produced much less smoke than the more powerful Type 99 Sniper Rifles which had shorter barrels. This reduction in smoke was due to the extended barrel length of the Type 38s and 97s and even that produced noticeable smoke.
These Semi-Autos all have much shorter barrels than the Type 38 and 97s so the smoke is realistic but it’s probably excessive, if anyone has a video showcasing WW2 6.5×50mmSR out of a Type 38 Carbine, we can get a picture for what it was like.

As we can see here the Carbine’s smoke does seem to exist but for a very short while unlike the enlisted verison.
Are they using modern ammunition or ww2 issued ammo?
