The Type Hei Automatic Rifle has a 30 round magazine, but I think it should be switched to a 20 round magazine instead.
The original automatic Type Hei was trialed as a LMG. This variant belongs to a Paratrooper squad. It has 30 rounds. This makes sense because sustained fire power is key for MGs and it’s on par with Japan’s other common machine guns
The 20 round magazine is ideal for an automatic rifle. This would also keep it on par with every other automatic rifle
So to reiterate, make the research tree Type Hei automatic rifle have a 20 round magazine instead
I think we have give japan BR5 2 option
As this project isn’t a “rifle” it’s called “super light MG”
We can have a no bipod 20 round version as normal selection rifle
And remain the 30 round version with 10% moving penalty
In a ideal world this would be the case but I don’t see the Devs replacing weapons that people own or altering them significantly. Especially after the response to the gewher 43 Kurtz change.
This is the fault of the merge. We wouldn’t need this shit if America didn’t get the T20 Auto Garand which in turn was used to counter Germany’s FG-42. This spillover never happened when we still had campaigns.
Lol the merge blamer that doesn’t even know the situation.
Type Hei automatic rifle was added before the T20 was added.
So it was actually used to counter M2 carbine which was already in Pacific before the merge.
Do some research before blaming everything on merge.
Not needed. The Hei Auto has the least damage of the SF rifles, and so compensates for that with more ammo per mag. The T20 holds its own against it fine.
