Now in BP you can’t get 100 gold! You could after 9 months (9 BPs) buy yourself a BP, but no!
They said one of the perks of the new BP was that it was 30 days, but they extended it to 46 days!
It’s time for us to unite like never before! It’s obvious what the game is turning into (it already has). I suggest not to play and not to write threads on the forum to all not indifferent! I just want the best for this game.
INTRODUCTION
The US already has the M1 Garand with a grenade launcher, Germany may eventually have the StG 44 with a grenade launcher. But is there a similar weapon for Japan? For example, a grenade launcher rifle could be a good reward in BP or as a weapon for an entire squad for an event! After all, Japan unfortunately has problems with the choice of adding weapons.
TYPE HEI AND A GRENADE LAUNCHER
Unfortunately I have no evidence of grenade launchers being used on the Type Hei. However, I see no reason why standard Japanese grenade launchers could not be attached to the barrel of the Type Hei rifle. In addition, the Type Hei has a gas regulator, which can greatly increase the effectiveness of the grenade launcher, similar to the M1 Garand.
Wouldn’t it break balance though since no nation has SF rifle with grenade luncher in TT (there is german paras with FG42 with grenade kunchers) also it would cause toxicity in BR5 , imagine running around with 9 man armed with OSK(one shot kill) SFs and now they also have the ability to wipe a squad
In general, I did not mean the branch pumping, but rather as a weapon for a squad from the event (for example, a squad of 5 fighters who can not change weapons, such as a squad with MG 39, only there will be a squad with Type Hei with a grenade launcher). Or some other options, but I don’t mean TT:
but Stg44 cannot use grenade launcher.
It has no gas regulator.
Germans tried to make it work when they change MP43,however,their final solution was not practical.
the solution is:
u need to change anthor gas bolt.
Germans also think the gas bolt r useless stuffs. So they gave up researching Stg Grenade launcher.u can also see subtle difference between the muzzle of MP43 and Stg44 in game
I think it’d make for a really interesting event or BP weapon for Japan. And by all accounts it should be possible in theory for the standard grenade launchers to be mounted on the Hei, I think it’s an idea worthwhile considering, even more so if Mr McCollum gun Jesus himself puts the idea forth for consideration.
I’m not sure of the correct translation, but it seems the Type Hei rifle got a barrel diameter like the Arisaki Type 38 during modification.

Can’t or does it poorly? We have a lot of weapons in the game that just broke down in testing, like the RPK 43 or Tokyo Arsenal Model 1927, but that didn’t stop them from appearing in our game. I think the StG 44 with a grenade launcher could become a game convention. In reality it will be much harder not to break the balance of the game.
In February 1939, the Army Technical Headquarters, based on the research policy of the Close Combat Weapons Research Society, began research into a thrower that could easily throw grenades at close range to the enemy.
2.Known rifle grenade launchers couldn’t be attached to the Type Hei because of the difference in sight position which wouldn’t properly secure the clamp attachment on the Type 100 (and not secure the launcher on the spigot model at all):
One very slight possibility could be found in the Se-Te Plan 3 (left) grenade launcher (assuming its mounted to the bayonet lug),
however this launcher was still developed 1939 so way after the Hei and I’d heavily guess this wasn’t related to it.
A last possibility would be a completely unknown launcher however I also doubt that since even with the obscure SLR scopes and bipods there is written mention of those, for a theoretical SLR rifle grenade launcher I’ve not seen such a mention yet.
Extra mention since I’ve seen the speculation over at RU: even if the Type 100 launcher somehow fit on the Type Hei rifle (which I still doubt because of the barrel diameter being more than the the Type 38 for which the clamp was designed for) and even if the very likely issues that would come from improper gas seal on the barrel (clamp being able to slide around and the barrel that reaches into the launcher being shorter than on the Type 38)
not being too big of a problem (which I also doubt), I still think it would be more fantasy than anything ever done in real life, the launcher doesn’t show any signs that it was designed to fit the Hei and the Hei predates the launcher (if not even the entire Japanese rifle grenade development) by ~5 years on top of no known mentions of this combination to my knowledge.
