Its one a few MG nest that its MG isnt anywhere else in campaign and thats why i like it too
I have a feeling that its dispersion is quite bad though (also it shouldnt overheat but there we go …)
Its sound could be improved a bit, the sound of new High cal type 93 HMG is just hilarious, pleasure to hear and huge thumbs up to sound team who dunnit

This place in Gavutu destruction is simply the best for MG nest

even this one , though its called hmg but it shoots regular mg ammo, still its amazing imo
The soviet HMG seems like the least satisfying to use, dunno why, I can’t answer that, it just does.
P.S : It might be the sights … Nah, still can’t provide a clear answer as to why.

it has favorable RPM which is perfect but, mostly due to it’s better elevation and depression
On the contrary, I think the Dshk is the best HMG, with a fast enough rate of fire (second only to the MG131), better aiming and better shot boundaries (the MG131’s bullets often land out of the center of aim and these problems are particularly acute when shooting to the sides) ，you may not like it because of its relatively uncontrollable recoil.

Good to see someone appreciates the DShK there. I wish we can use the regular iron sights but those AA sights actually work well against aircraft.
I do shoot in short bursts depending on how many enemies and at times a brief spray resulting in almost non-stop shooting without any overheats. Having to briefly stop to cooldown the gun a bit then a burst would do the job. Even better when had some downtime to cool the gun down without overheating.
