What is the point of the type 4 when the type 5 is unlocked sooner, has more penetration, more damage, higher muzzle velocity, higher rate of fire, sure you don’t get sights but you are basically eyeballing it either way.

I don’t know about raw penetration, but the panzerfaust wins in postpen damage.
Panzerfaust 100 > offenrohr. It has better pen

What’s the point of JP IV after Tiger in Normandy and so on? There’s literally tons of things loke this, funny you choose only the Japanese rocket launchers (tho Japanese AT rifle is better than them).
I guess everyday your learn something new, but is it really necessary to create topic about it on forum? It’s not like you are the first one who bring up this tho, true.
It gives you a choice between power & accuracy. Maybe it’s best to have both in your squad: Type 5 for close encounters, and Type 4 for longer range.
