Type 3 Ke Nu or Type 3 Ke Ri as a better light tank option

So I’ve been tempted to suggest one of the modified Ha Go’s but I couldn’t really decide which one would be more interesting/actually useful, leaving current balance out of the conversation, we must adress the lack of content on the Japanese tank tree and the current state of lack of HE shell options(I don’t care if it is 37mm HE, having none of it is worse than having it when others have it), so I’m here to ask you guys which one would make the most sense at your eyes for me it would be Ke Nu but I want to hear other opinions:

Context
Before WWII even started it was obvious that Ha Go could not compete with more powerful tanks and that the 37mm Gun while useful for infrantry it was getting too obsolete on anti-tank combat, this only became worse by the time Japan started invading several colonies on the Pacific

This is where they started facing more armored targets so a plan to upgun Ha Go was started:

Type 3 Ke Ri

[Clearly not from WT forums]
By 1943 the first prototype of this program was created, is basically just a Ha Go with the Type 90 57mm gun or known as the same gun that Chi Ha and I-Go uses, it will basically have the same performance as a regular Ha Go but with a better gun that actually has HE shells, IRL it was rejected because the turret was to cramped for the crew with the new gun, in Enlisted this doesn’t matter so is an option for a vehicle.

Type 4 Ke Nu

in 1944 the best decision to fix the cramped turret of the Ke Ri was took…basically slap a Chi Ha turret on the Ha Go chasis, this worked, not only it fixed the crampness problem but it also increased the armor of the turret offering more protection to the crew from small arms, of course this also had disadvantages which was the increased weight of the vehicle which reduced the max. speed to 40 km/h, funny enough this actually saw service on Manchukuo against the Soviets were the one on the picture above was captured

both vehicles will have the same AT capability because of the HEAT shell of the 57mm and they will have much better Anti-Infantry ability which can help a lot to the current situation

and lastly I didn’t mention Ke To because that wasn’t even finished as far as I know and Ke Ni is already in the game, let me know what do you guys think!
Edit: thanks to LM4_Luna and Killerwolf1024 for pointing out mistakes

“Ke-Nu” is Type 3 Ke-Ru.
Ke-Ri is (Experimental) Type 3 Ke-Ri.
Both are Type 3

Overall good suggestion. But don’t expect too much that Dev will add brand new non War Thunder tank for the tech tree.

That one was edited/has a fake gun, if you look at the full picture …

… and then look on the bottom right …

… you notice something right at the end, “年八” Year 8" (Showa 8 = 1939)

Not if they get the 57mm Type 3 HEAT shell which can pen ~55mm at any range.

Also small side note, all the “surviving” examples of Type 3 Ke-Ru (as @LM4_Luna pointed out is the correct designation for whats often mistakingly called “Type 4 Ke-Nu”) were made post war from normal Ha-Go hulls with Chi-Ha turrets, an easy way to spot this, as far as I know, is the turret gap between it and the hull (you notice with your last picture that there’s basically no gap).

Anyways I agree these would be nice to have ingame but only with HEAT shells (which I also still want for Ho-I but thats besides the topic).

Bro I completely forgot about the 57mm HEAT shell, thanks for reminding me about it, and the other thing yeah I do know about that while I was reading about it I came across a note that some the surviving Ke Nu weren’t the ones that left the factory as the designated Type 3 but instead were field modifications
