Type 11 LMG - piece of shit

Yeah, reminds me of perino model 1908 from BF1. It was fed with 6x20 rounds clips.
It was quite convinient for reloading in a downtime between shooting. Just quickly throw extra clip or two (instead of changing the whole mag/belt) and you are ready to go.

I was always a fan of the MGs that used the Hotchkiss feed clips.
Maybe we can add a Type 3 to this campaign st a later date.
Unique guns are always fun.

The worst iron sights for an LMG ever + hits like a peashooter but bot controlled squadmates can shoot well even with shitty iron sights.

Eh, the ZB has worse sights, the Breda has worse dispersion. Hit power is a bit lacking, but not very noticable, so I like it still.

Huh, I haven’t been seeing that in game, guess RNGesus has been kind to me here then.

Haha, yeah. My squadmates perform better than me with Type 11. Both worrying and satisfying in some way.

The 97 so makes up for it!

I prefer horizontal on all of them.

They could share ammo with riflemen easily or vice versa, only need to ship strips and bullets

Where is the new dispersion chart?

I am an avid LMG user, and I love this one for the design. But it is the worst available on any campaign. It blocks half the screen when you aim down sights, it’s in the lowest damage bracket for LMG’s (Japanese are the first to be released with less than 12 base damage), the accuracy is abysmal. 2-3 hits to kill is common, 4 starts happening at range. Which equates to maybe 5-6 kills on a good magazine. I perform infinitely better with the Breda despite its only 20 rounds, which suffices to kill 8-10 if I shoot singles - It’s more accurate, has more damage, and I can actually see.

The type 11 is, however, better than the semi autos, because it has more bullets, and their damage is trash too. Japanese semi autos have the same damage as the notoriously unsatisfying armaguerra, and they only hold 5 rounds. Meaning I can only shoot 2-3 people regularly between reloads, which is abysmal. So Type 11 it is. I’ve high hopes for the scoped one as well.
