I know when you make a suggestion to DF the results usually are the same as peeing into the wind, still, I have to ask.
The MP18 squad I bought a couple years ago, and the Orita 1941 Medic squad I bought the past month or so both should be moved to level one. Neither gun IMOP is up to level two standards, and basically are on par with level one smg’s. I wouldn’t use either of them in level two, and had to remove the ammo pack in the MP 18 squad to make it usable in other levels. Unfortunately, the Orita squad is medic, so no chance to change from the ammo pouch, and it’s slow rate of fire coupled with its lower hitting power makes it a terrible level two weapon. But as they are, they should be level two.
I agree,these guns are so behind at BR2 compared to competitors,but should be fairly even at BR1,since they are quite bouncy (the mp18 at least is,as well as obscuring half your screen)
The main reason I want them changed is because with the Germans, I have every playing level covered with squads I like, except for level one, and I have those two squads which are just collecting dust that would make good level one squads because they’re not good enough to be level two, especially with DF 1/1 which means they will be facing a lot of level three.
Yes, it got buffed but it’s it’s still vastly inferior to the Russian LEVEL ONE PPD-34. It’s also inferior to the LEVEL ONE Beretta M38 as it’s not as accurate, has a higher shot deviation and has the same ROF. So in retrospect it wouldn’t even be the best German SMG at level one.
So basically, DF polished a turd, it’s still a turd, and an over leveled turd at that.
Besides, I wouldn’t worry about it as after coming to the forum for the past couple years, DF has yet to respond any of my suggestions, in fact, they never even acknowledge them. But they love it when I am buying these squads and BP weapons, which both these squads were, I might add.
