increase minimum build range for re-spawn beacon by %50
increase objective area size by %150
adding such a thing would let you market the game for the arcade players that play the game as it is now in the arcade mode
while also allowing you to market the game for the hardcore players
poaching the hardcore FPS gamers
Exquisite large-scale maps and more players are things they already support technically, please check my mod
Among which large-scale maps have been shown to players in CRSED very early.
For hardcore gameplay, the most important thing is to add communication tools between players, such as distance voice and or more non-voice communication, such as more small map markers for communication.
There are also resource-based strategy game rules in place to avoid spam.
And don’t delete the UI, Deleting the UI is not a hard core, but increasing player communication and cooperation is
I would love this. I often feel there is a bit too much rush in mentality. Maybe add/increase effects of fire suppression and have bots be able to lay down suppressive fire in a certain direction kinda like Brothers in Arms.
Maybe this realism mode reduces amount of spawns? or increases spawn time? People don’t value their lives and for realism this really needs to change, even the bloodiest battles of ww2 typically didn’t see up to 2000 people die in 15 minutes. Maybe there were such situations, or close to it, but those wouldn’t have been the standard for nearly every battle.
Perhaps some kind of reward for how long you live? Even if it promotes camping, it promotes others to keep their head down and clear areas before rushing in.
this could work well, not so sure about movement changes, LF does prove that’s it’s the mission design that makes games slower or faster not the overall movement.
I advice you to play lonefighters if you haven’t since devs already said they’re not planning any realistic mode anytime soon
lonefihters are actually slower and harder and guess what? majority of playerbase fckn hate it
Now that I think about it, this realistic game mode and your suggestions are all there to make players behave more realistic. It still doesn’t address one major issue with realism…2000 people didn’t slaughter each other EVERY battle of WW2 in 15-30 minutes.
Here’s my suggestions:
Everyone 2 respawns so you can use a squad only once and get three squads so even f2p players can join.
Smaller teams, maybe 4 or 5 giving like 12-15 squads per battle per team which would make it far more tactical.
This way people will use their squads more wisely. Lay more smoke fields with tanks or arty, don’t rush in without clearing every corner etc.
Even if there are whole battalions in a battle historically, they don’t ALL clash and die in 15-30 minutes.
I do like your suggestions but one major part of making it more realistic is to reduce the vast amount of casualties the game has.
Imo movement should stay as it is now.
If you want to slow down the game, you should slow down the firefights, not the movement. Otherweise you risk creating a walking simulator.
TLDR:
Longer lasting fights - yes
Longer time betwen fights - absolutely no
i’d love if they’d changed objectives into sectors, meaning that there would be constant fight going on. There’s nothing more annoying than objective taken by a single ninja squad, but it’s my personal dream that obviously won’t come true
Whether it’s closer or further, right now suicide rushing is the best way to level quick. Including suicide bombing.
They need to put a system like War Thunder where staying alive longer grants more XP…alongside stuff like further spawn points, less respawns etc. this should indeed be a separate game mode.
if we want both to have much action and stay alive longer I believe suppression would work great, I can’t see anything else apart from separate game mode which is unfortunately off limits.
if you’d have respawn limits game would drastically slow down imo. I haven’t been there but at the beginning there was respawn limit in enlisted and they’ve dumped it, doubt it they’d bring it back
// It has already made major code for this feature
// It can create an unlimited times of respawn opportunities, while avoiding spam, and even if the player is destroyed by a very strong squad, he can still accumulate points to make a comeback
// If the player does not have enough available points, they are respawn as bolt-action riflemen. give everyone a chance to enjoying the game
// At the same time, you can make features like replenishing squad members by cost scores
Yeah, suppression is a must for me but that would take development time so less likely to happen.
That was like 10 spawns or more maybe, I’m talking 2 respawns (so total 3 spawns per player) and small maybe 4 to 5 human player teams. For the separate more realistic game mode of course. Them having removed it already once says nothing because we are not talking about touching the original game mode.
As fierce as the fighting was during WW2, there weren’t thousands of casualties every 10 minutes. Sure, the battles depicted in Enlisted would see those numbers but spread out over days or hours in the quickest cases.
Smaller teams, like 4-5 players and total of 3 spawns per player and a reward multiplier for the longer you live.
Very simple to implement into a separate mode and I would be interested to see how it plays out.
proxy voice chat can be a a very hard/taxing thing for the game devs to do so if they could
yes
UI is somethink that should stay
thats why i posted a decrease in movement speed and increase in map size
thats due to the fact that lone fighters keeps the one hit/two hit, while removing that best feature of enlisted, bots
make movement slower, if players just rush and die over and over they will either
1 keep on doing it
2 go back to arcade
3 play smart and try and stay alive
it would be the other way around with short times on intense gun fire with lulls between
and hence why you would be able to play the constant action arcade
again aswell this whole idea is to provide a game for those hardcore players that dont want an arcade shooter
maybe increasing all xp gained in the mode to compensate for the slower gameplay
hence the slowed movement speed and slightly larger map
since we’re not getting any separate mode we have to find compromise in current game mode design, a compromise to keep it arcade and yet more realistic/tactic etc. for me I’d love if the game would do:
• 20v20 battles
• larger playable area & objectives
• suppression
• RP distance restriction increased
• same squad type circulation disabled
I guess enlisted would remain arcade but it would have more epic realistic vibe into it, without slowing the game with movement tweaks as the game feels kinda slow already
the pace of the game is ok as it is now, especially with perks and soldier carry weights being variables to that
I think the game needed larger objectives long ago, and remove stupid grey areas, the new mode was a breath of fresh air into the game when that happened because of the reason that it did not have shifting grey areas, so made for more fun interesting open battlefields, but the objectives still too small and repetitive
also the fact we cannot select our fav mode, means players have no choice but to quit matches as their match search function
limit squads and classes within squads to be more authentic would also help the game
But why we even talking about this, this company only knows how to make arcade brawlers and dip into the authentic models to fool the players. Until they actually commit to gameplay to match their game models and environment, this game looks good, but has very narrow limited gameplay in too many maps and modes
and now with the extra restrictions on weapons, gear and vehicles…they would need to stop that nonsense and get back to the drawing board, otherwise this game is definitely heading to the trash
two core modes would be nice if they weren’t going ahead with the BR nonsense
