Going forward I would like to see the following two changes for the sub-factions that is Britain and Italy in-game. These are as follows:
The ability to buy all the old legacy squads from the Battle of Tunisia pre-merge. These could be bought for a price of 10,000 silver in-game which is negotiable. They could come in the shop on a revolving basis just like the Veteran’s Box at present.
Such a change would be hugely beneficial for the old players who couldn’t grind both the factions in the Battle of Tunisia pre-merge. This would also be applicable for new players who don’t have any opportunity to get to play with these squads since these are not present in the TT. For instance, a British rifleman squad or an Italian assaulter squad.
To complement this feature the devs should also give us the ability to change a soldier’s nationality by using customisation orders. The devs mentioned about considering such an option while talking about the ‘Things to Do’ list a while back.
This way the players would be able to get all the high tier and perfectly rolled soldiers as British and Italian troops for these returning legacy squads in-game. Currently, we have to compromise a bit by putting an American AT soldier in a British assaulter squad which is quite immersion breaking.
Some people have suggested to add atleast one squad type for the British and Italians in the TT. But this may take a little bit of time. However, giving us the legacy squads themselves along with the customized soldiers seems like a nice middle ground to me.
I would like the helpers and moderators of this forum to pass on these suggestions to the devs for their kind consideration. Please leave a if you too would like to see these changes. Thank you.
if anything, should bring ALL pre merge campaign squads.
but, i have reasons to believe ( or rather, my guts tells me ) that it was easier and simpler to remove some squads and only focus on a handful of few ( from the TT ) so that adjustemts can be done quickly and easier there, to then through time, change and expand other pre merge squads.
but i can’t prove nor disprove my own theory.
so i’ll leave it at that.
although again, in an ideal world, seems weird just to limit to tunisia.
